Great Job! I see a few stupid comments here. They seem to be on every good video. Any body who really goes off-road enjoys a good test for any vehicle. As someone who actually goes off road, I really appreciate and enjoy your video. Australia seems to be a great off road place. We do a lot of muddying and water driving here in Miami. People who think FJ is not one of the best true off road cars, has never driven one.
Amazing vehicle in every way. This video just goes to prove that no matter how much jeep troll muscle heads try to disrespect the FJ, they end up proving themselves wrong. This FJ just went through some really rough Australian terrain. A jeep may be more off-road capable, but it would have broken down mechanically several times before the finish line. Gotta own em' to know em' and I had both.
I do get a bit of scrubbing on the front not due to flex but at standard ride. It because the centre of the wheel is in exact line with the mudflaps and the body mount for them. Taking the mud flaps off helped heaps but I've heard only a small body chop or hammering will fix it. When I re-do my suspension I'm going to level the car as Toyota release them with the rear about 35mm higher.
top gear ´s the best :P no but in all seriousness , i own an fj cruiser and you can go ANYWHERE in that thing :D fj´s get sent out when the wrangler´s get stuck ;)
vax my family owns a tyre shop and we had a FJ in a year ago that wanted 16, we got two different offsets in I think in the brand King wheels and we had to get a die grinder with a flap disk and just smooth off the edge of the front brake callipers for it to work, one offset just Jammed on the brakes altogether but the other one when you spun the wheel you could just hear the rim scraping on the brakes in the front but barley so we just smoothed off the edge of the calliper. Can't remember the offset but they stuck out way more then standard. And go for ROH blak trak rims they're the best Sunnys
