Hey mate…rather than wresting with jet removal and heat…toss them into an ultrasonic cleaner. It will break down anything binding up the threads and then put the Vessel to them.
I've tried that before, sometimes it works, most times, doesn't. These did go through the ultrasonic, but as you correctly referred, after this operation. It's a good suggestion, thanks.
Those 80s bikes in my mind are not as well engineered as the 90s stuff, especially the H brand. My two 90s Interceptors are easy compared to the 80s Magnatoid - I have split them and replaced o-rings along with installing metal fuel tubes, t-stat/o-ring. I only use ethanol free gas btw. I never got leaks that you had down on those coolant pipes on either one of my bikes, one has 89,000 miles other 35,000 miles. You should blow out your Magna and visit Dania Beach for the Antique Motorcycle Show on January 25, 2025. Nice to see/watch your videos again. Bob is my uncle too sometimes.
I brought the Magna/Sidecar outfit to Dania Beach couple years ago, it was in the show. I would not likely go back. The place is kind-of run down and hotels are not well suited for trailers pulling bikes behind a pickup. Too far to ride that down, it'd break my back. I stayed at a Hotel 6 which was the only place with a parking lot large enough and the exterior smelled like pee. I don't understand why they keep having that show there, it's pretty crappy location.
@@MotoRestoFL LOL Its a strange place being next to the old Jai alai stadium that is now a casino. It gives me a chance to see people I have not seen in a year. Fast question for you, what is your tire set up for changing tires, I was looking into the Roboconda machine but think it is over engineered regarding the racheting arm and the fact that you have to do it on the floor in my mind kinda sux. Have a swell Sunday and Happy Merry Holiday too. Warren
Tom, enjoyed another carb video. Nice job in giving your explanation of what's going on. Look forward to the next installment. RIDE SAFE OUT THERE!
Love your work and appreciate your honesty. 👏👏👏👏
Thanks. Yea, I f'k up sometimes but figure, why not show it. "I make mistakes so you don't have to." lol
I really likes your educational videos🙏
Greetings from Finland! 😊
Thanks. Cheers.
Nice video, learn something new each week.
Thanks. Me too.
Thank You, for the nice video! 🤩👍
Thanks.
