Thank you the great review. I drive the same minivan model, which happens to be silver. I’m getting 39.5 miles per gallon in the city. I particularly enjoy the memory seats, the spaciousness, the smooth driving experience, and of course, its attractive appearance.
I had the AWD version with 18" wheels... I can imagine the FWD models with 20" wheels are worse! I didn't have an XSE to test drive beforehand, but I had a sienna LE rental and I liked it. I didn't think the XSE would be THAT much stiffer... well, it is folks. Find a way to go for a test drive. the XSE also does not have the acoustic glass or sound deadening, so with the stiffer suspension I feel that it transfers more noise into the cabin. the suspension is just overkill for a minivan.
Since two people on this thread are railing against the ride quality of the XSE suspension, please let me know what you think of it? How does it ride and handle?
Been wait listed for XSE premium package for 4.5 month. Saw Toyota only produced less than 10 in past 4.5 month. Its prefect for moneys worth but Toyota is so greedy, they wont make it. Toyota only makes models + options to maximize margin. Couldnt wait any longer, ended up getting Plat for 5k more.
Hi,this is Nhan, I looking for sienna XSE for my wife, but please if you can give me the name of that toyota dealer, where are yours have Sienna XSE ,? Thankyou very much!! ❤
Stupid people going into debt to buy this thinking only abt monthly payments and then thinking that gas savings will cover the price- not true. People your kids will appreciate if you save for their education rather than moving them around in this van, unless you can pay cash
Several things that is a deal breaker for me. Second row seats unable to be removed for more space. The car has no bumpers so will sustain significant damage to the front fascia and rear hatch. It is smaller inside than my 2013 sienna because they try to slim it down with the sporty styling his reducing interior space. The ugly giant front grill that is overstyled.
I own a 2015 toyota Sienna Limited and use it for Rideshare and I'm shopping for 2nd mini van as alternate but this new Sienna has several negatives that I will look elsewhere, aside from what you mention the engine is somewhat under power and has less cargo volume, the only positive on this van is higher mpg, brake hold, sleeker design and it's a Toyota!
The Sienna XSE has stiff and hash suspension, even the smallest road imperfections will cause it to shake all over, with various interior components making all kinds of squeaks and rattles, like a symphony orchestra. It was my first minivan and it looked good: lowed body, big wheels low profile tire, sport body kit. Aside from the vibration and noise, it didn't give me any sense of a sports car. I sold this POS within a year.
Wow you make it sound like its a brand new invention that you can actually slide the middle row seats back and forth ?? What would be worth applause is if they had made them REMOVABLE ......
Not many more features compared to my 2019 honda odyssey EXL . In fact, i think my honda has better leather material & more trunk space, and my honda came with a spare tire that fits under middle seat on 2nd row
At that price it’s not worth it. Overpriced and you’re better off buying this used. Especially when it’s not even the 8 seater which is what sets minivans apart.
Sienna 😮has only about 20hp more than the Prius Prime and the infotainment system is so outdated. It’s sad that Toyota wants to create the “cool looking” soccer mom/dad car but has very disappointed driving dynamics.
I’m sorry I was so excited about this car. I have three kids I went to purchase limited and It was the worst car I have ever draw you could hear, Absolutely everything was happening outside. You can hear it inside the seats so uncomfortable suspension is horrible. I was really looking forward to purchase the car and I got so disappointing do not recommend test drive it first !
Chrysler Pacifica is more reliable? You have got to be kidding. That statement is contrary to everything that I have heard and read about the Stellantis/Chrysler products. Worst of all is the hybrid Chrysler Pacifica. Talk about a can of worms. It has been notorious for such “little” inconveniences as catching on fire and suddenly losing power and coming to a stop on a freeway/highway. Also, my research has shown that the Toyota Sienna has the best resale value by far.

Much better equipment than the Canadian 24 version. Dealer told me the only upgrade is the blackout rims, lol.
Can you get the 20 inch with AWD? If not... why not??

Had 2004 and now has 2024 woodland and loving 33 real road MPG with AWD, so far so good.
These are my same issues. Why they design something without bumpers is beyond me .
Where is the heated steering wheel ?
top trim special
Bro reminded us its a premium package a 100 times

Lol all he said was premium package and cool 😂

Just don't draw it.
The head unit is garbage and makes this car not worth buying no matter how nice it’s look !!! The tech is out dated for a 2024 vehicle
Pay a little more, Chrysler Pacifica is more reliable & better resale value than the Sienna, according to JD Power.
Honda Odyssey beats both of them.
While I do like the functionality of the Pacifica, reliability trumps it.
