    I have a 2024 Sienna Limited edition and we love it. My gas mileage calculates to about 1.5 to 2 mpg less than what is indicated on the display as measured between tank fills and with that, I still got between 33 and 36.5 true calculated mpg on my trips. The mpg improves in the mountains 😊.

    Don’t drive in eco mode. Unless you’re in bumper to bumper traffic. You will get worse gas mileage. Best mode is normal and you’ll get 35+ mpg

    I've had my Sienna since 2021. I bought it as it was being delivered to the
    dealership. I had a 2021 Highlander, and it didn't suit me. I get 37.8 MPG always on my daily trips and 38.6 on vacation. I have it loaded from front to back for a two week vacation. I wouldn't trade this car for anyone on the market. ❤

    3:17 We're still on the market for a minivan, and something we didn't like about the Sienna is how there's 1-2 fewer inches of headroom getting in to the second row from the part of the ceiling that dips down. It's tough for gas savings for a Sienna to really add up compared to a cheaper V6 minivan. For our driving, we'd save at most $500-750 per year, but if we're spending $5000-10000 more per year upfront, interest on $10000 per year would approximately pay for the difference. So the hybrid benefit would be greater if someone were willing to pay more to be kinder to the environment.

    My biggest complaint is that the sienna is stuck on Toyota Safety Sense 2.0. TSS 3.0 is leaps and bounds superior. Even the 2025 refresh is still 2.0 and it shows that Safety updates are not a priority for Toyota. 2.5 would have been nice. This car is hauling the most precious cargo in the world (children) and I will choose a competitor with more up to date safety features.

    I agree with everything you said and my 2023 Platinum is better, much better than any of my previous 4 Chrysler minivans/ there is no competition now- Honda with its rubber timing belt van is a no go, Chrysler is now crap. And Hyundais don’t last - sure the Sienna is not perfect - but is the best

    • @alexmassengale433
      @alexmassengale433 4 месяца назад +1

      Is the timing belt that big a deal? In my area all the Toyotas are on big markups while the Hondas are on discount. Even with gas prices and a timing belt change, you may never make up that initial cost difference. An Odyssey Elite can be had for something like $10 grand less than a Sienna Platinum and a base Odyssey about $8 grand cheaper than what dealers are actually selling an LE Sienna for.

    • @pedropuckerstein4670
      @pedropuckerstein4670 4 месяца назад +1

      Depends on your pov. I also have 3 Hondas, just had the valves adjusted on my 4cyl accord. Do what feels comfortable for your needs. In warm weather in nj I get over 42 MPG with Sienna hybrid. Both brands are reliable- my last CRV lasted over 300K miles. I just won’t buy a rubber belt engine anymore - had them on my VWs

      @@kevin-lu I really wish they let you do 8 seats in all trims for a people mover. Honda and Kia have 8 seat options for top trims. For my family the two place middle seat just doesn't work well. It is a bummer because I like to get lots of features and otherwise this car in limited trim would be perfect (presuming you could find one without a big markup). Hopefully for 2025 they fix that. A removable middle seat seems like the perfect way to do it for a minivan.

      Just bought a Sienna Limited BECAUSE it was only one of three seats that ‘fit’ me. Other seats either had thigh bolsters that made my SI joints move (I have very loose joints & use a cushion my PT gave me to lift up a bit so bolsters don’t squish me) or did not allow me to site with 90 degrees at knees & hips (I have to tilt seat back a little but it works.)
      The other two seats were from the Ford 150 Platinum (excellent seat!) and Ford Explorer (it was a higher trim level), but I don’t want a truck & the Explorer’s windshield is set in a way that I felt like I was wearing a hat & couldn’t see as much road as I can in the Sienna.
      I went to 13 dealerships & only 3 vehicles were comfortable.
      My husband thinks both the front seats and the captains chairs middle row are very comfortable… and we love that the front seats both heat and can cool.
      I’m 5’10” & husband is 6’2”.

I would say used your total cash down for ur advantage. Like if if you are giving $5000 down, when you r doing ur counter offers used it little by little. Like say $2000 first then increased while u r negotiating. try to go at the end of the month when they are trying to meet quotas. And always be ready and willing to walk out.
