I don't care how much money you have, this place will take ALL of your time maintaining and up keeping. Every water feature, planter bed, etc. will need constant attention. Seems amazing until you settle in. These Mc mansions hardly ever keep people living in them more than several years. ALWAYS turning over. And lastly, how cozy would you feel knowing what horrors happened there. Dark dwellings.

There’s plenty of ghouls out there that love that stuff but they just can’t afford it, if this was a normal house at normal price and the same history was bestowed upon it then it would be snapped up in no time. I was reading about Trent Reznor’s first night in the old property and his anecdotes sound freaky as hell. I reckon I could attempt to live here though all things considered.

I hope those that can actually afford to buy this very impressive property will be informed about the history of the land it stands on. Otherwise they may get annoyed and wonder why random people come to their front gate at all times of the day and night trying to look through, or people using strong lenses taking videos and pictures from the other side of that canyon. That home was totally torn down and property stripped clean and now this ugly monstrosity sits on it. Although I understand why the original home was torn down, I think the new home would have looked better had it been a little similar to what was there. I can't understand how there are people who don't value what property it is. This house represents a chapter in the history of the United States. It is possibly the most emblematic house on the entire planet. After what happened here, the way of thinking of the fathers and mothers of the country changed forever. It was where the hippie era ended. It is a house where every square meter was studied to become a monument to Los Angeles. It is absolute beauty! The architectural work behind this construction goes beyond what anyone can understand. You have to be there to know what it feels like.
