Nice mate, that sunset looked great!
Hahaha it sure was! Thanks for watching Paul! :D
Thanks for the video. Both the Business and Economy seats are old models from Zim.
Thanks for letting me know :)
Great video!!! It reminded me of when I worked as a flight attendant from 2000-2004 in the U.S. At that time the airline that I worked for still flew 727's(my favorite airplane of all time). When I was sitting in that back jumpseat during takeoff and landing, that engine noise was music to my ears.
😍😍
Any old plane is always such a great experience!
Amazing review mate, long live the ol’ McDonnell Douglas era byproduct that we come to know today as the trusty 717!
100% they shall!
That Engine Noise, Love, Love, Love
😍
Needed to look up AU capital?
I remember catching an Impulse 717 on Easter Day from HBA to MEL. 2001. Apparently was its third flight.
I was the third passenger and last on board.
Always loved the DC9 and this was a worthy successor.
@@tastigr That's cool as!!
For aviation enthusiasts, a plane does not go "deteriorating", it only gets "classical" 😁😀 Very nice trip report on this lovely bird. Look forward to your A220 review.
Thank you for watching!!
This aircraft somewhat felt like a museum piece when I was on it, so it's definitely getting into the classical category ahaha!
you flew on the same plane and same seat as me! back in october last year, i flew on NXQ. I will soon have a trip report up for that one too :) I like the 717 so much
Ah what a coincidence!!!
I'll be on the lookout for that upload!
@@AJ_747 yeah thanks! and yeah haha
@@AJ_747 finally after a long wait, ill be uploading my 717 trip report shortly :)
I flew NXE on the outbound from Coffs to Melbourne and NXO on the return flight
Sweet! Did you sit right next to the engine?
great video mate, when i flew on the 717 in january on the last flight out of the sunny coast it was amazing, video just does not put in place how loud the engines are!!!!
Yeah I saw!! Thankfully you got to fly on one before they stopped out of the Sunny Coast!! The 717 is an incredible aircraft 😍
What will happen to the 717 planes
They'll be slowly phased out, and then replaced by the A220 🥲
I love the shape of these planes and nickname them Dolphin Tail planes but as both an aviation nerd and a finance nerd I can see the reason why they are getting rid of these planes.......Look at the thickness of the seats.....The new Jetstar planes have a similar comfort level but the seats are much thinner........With the seats much thinner they can it in another two rows of passengers which means more money for the airline.....I didn't even realize airlines still had those thicker seats anymore,
That is true, and because the seats are heavy, they make the aircraft weigh more which takes a toll on fuel efficiency... But, they're way more comfortable than most other short haul seats nowadays ahahaha
You have an interesting accent. Where are you from?
I'm Australian (with an Australian accent), and a Dutch, Italian and Latvian background :)
@@AJ_747 haha I can tell it’s Aussie. I reckon you might be from Melbourne. I’m Aussie but half dutch half Anglo. Just stirring. Nice vid man.
@@DJ99777 😂

Noisy experience.
@@achmadosman9807 Us avgeeks love it 😉
What's with the language?
You know it is okay to sound literate and mature.
