Looks like a decent place to ride. I live in Idaho and have ridden up the highway and to the left of warm lake, around landmark? Excellent trails up there with boardwalks, alpine lakes, etc. I completely agree with your take on motorized trail riding, some people are just so ignorant! I'm trying to think of how many trails I've seen closed down due to "erosion" fears then a few years go by and you see bulldozers there making way for a new subdivision, mining, or?? Also fires are a natural and healthy thing for forrest''s, and yes the earth is always changing, turning inside out, and yes even CLIMATE CHANGE! Remember the dinosaurs and ice age?🤫 Happy trails! Maybe I'll see you out there some day!
@@RacerRed When I'm travelling I'll be sure to stop by. I'm sure the videos don't do the elevation any justice. Everything on GoPro looks way less steeper than it is in person.
They just paved the road along the south fork that opened up 2 weeks ago. What a spectacular ride. One of my favorite drives is Warm Lake to Yellowpine or going Lick Creek Summit to McCall
Did you get the Midwest Mountain CLever? My son and I got that for our KTMs with Brembo brakes and absolutely love them! My other son got one for his KTM with the Magura clutch, and I also could not get it adjusted right. The little plunger rod was too long. I ended up cutting just a little bit off of it and was then able to properly adjust it. It does not make the pull as light on the Magura as it does on the Brembo because the Magura has a larger bore, but it still made a big difference over stock.
I am continuing to try to make it work. Thats exactly the issue im having but it seems like the adjustment bolt is striking on the side instead of on the head which makes it non adjustable essentially. That said, i still want to run it because i really like the light clutch pull.
@@RacerRed I figured that's what you had! I cut about 1mm of the rod. The other trouble I had initially was the rod wasn't in the pocket on the master cylinder piston, which made it really weird. Once I figured that out, then I realized the rod was too long. I could back the adjuster screw all the way out and it was still not quite engaging all the way. Trimmed the rod down and everything worked as intended.
Funny… I was gonna try bibs.. I ran tubeless for 3 years but after getting a few dingers in the wheels from all the rock bashing, they won’t hold air well anymore. My wheels aren’t beat either, just a couple little dings. I’ve gone back to hd tubes and haven’t had a problem yet but I sure enjoyed the pressure you could run tubeless.
Bibs are safe compared to any other option for the first riding season, but dont handle great at speed. They are extremely expensive to replace, and start handling horrible after the first season.
@@RacerRed I worked at Carls in Boise for a bit and if we sold bibs or tubeless, the techs whined like crazy beacon the difficulty.. lol. Sent you an email with my info if you wanna get out sometime. Good luck this weekend!
Mile marker 16 has a hot spring on this road. What a place to see the fish elk moose mountain lion and badger haven't seen a wolverine yet.

100% agree with what you said. more people need to hear this - our society would be much better off!
Absolutely, I think the more people who can think for themselves, the better. Thanks for commenting!
Beautiful trail! Only hot springs I have been to are in the appropriately named, Hot Springs, Arkansas :)
I really wanna go to Idaho. From what I've heard and seen it looks to be one of the best states to ride in
Its pretty awesome here although most people aren't prepared for how steep it is

Thanks for taking the time to comment! Idaho is pretty awesome!
I ran ultra heavy duty tubes seems to work the best and isn't to expensive.
Yeah, it seems like the best option right now for sure!

What radiator fan do you run on your bike? And have you liked it?
Trailtech, and i have loved it. Hasn't failed me yet.
Bibs suck! Heavy duty tubes and or tubeless. I went back to tubes.
Yeah, I agree! Bibs start wearing out and suddenly you start getting thrown on your face.
