As a Swede myself and have followed Pettersson throughout the years, from what I can tell Pettersson wants to play in Vancouver, he has no reason to go anywhere else, and now he's getting the big bucks. I think the the problem is that he has lost himself. When he entered the league I told people that I hope they don't try to fix something that is not broken, "Get Pettersson stronger, make him do more hits, he needs to train on skating he falls a lot", the truth is, Pettersson performed magically when he was a bambi feather on ice, because that's where his adapted style was since childhood. They have experimented too much with Pettersson and he's now tilted because he's playing bad, we are talking about a guy that used to get upset for not scoring every-time he took a shot. Pettersson is a play-maker, not a McKinnon or McJesus, but he has completely lost himself.

Petterson got 89 points last year. Not to bad. I like him with Gars and Hoglander. They created some good chances. And scored one.
