Another great video by this very knowledgeable expert. I always look forward to his videos. Unfortunately there is no convincing the nurses, nurse practitioners and doctors about arm shapes. I've tried it and have even written to those in authority about arm shapes. I have been aware of arm shapes and sizes for a number of years now because of my own arms having a lot of loose fat over muscle since I've been exercising more. I have the Omron Gold and I love how it finds the level of my heart. Doesn't matter if I'm sitting, standing or laying down, the Omron Gold always finds the level of my heart in the same place. But I am a little bit sketchy about it's accuracy though. I get a very normal or a little below the normal on the Omron Gold. I have this nice big pulsating artery about a half inch long under the skin in my wrist where I put the center of the Omron Gold cuff over. KEEP THOSE VERY INFORMATIVE VIDEOS COMING. I love watching them.
I bought a cheap wrist one and regretted it. Never really worked accurately. The Omron is good. The secret is keeping it at the right height with heart.
Blood Pressure Explained I had watched this, but since u offered, I watched again. My problem is there was not enough time spent explaining how tight the cuff should be. A quick, tight enough so one finger fits ‘your finger’. How tight is that I’d my finger is half the size of your finger?
The cuff should be FIRMLY wrapped around, with NO SPACE between the cuff and wrist. In addition, it shouldn't be over the protruding bone on the top side of your wrist. If it is, it may create a gap. I hope that helps. I checked the Omron manual for you and that's the only instruction they give.

👍🏻
I have the Omron Gold and like it. Although I prefer the upper arm cuff but the wrist comes in handy sometimes.
Thanks for sharing!
