I love BMW bikes and this looks like a great one.
But this is literally the most uncool attempt at a cool launch, I have ever seen.
Tragically cringeworthy.
I'm a fan of BMW Motorrad engineering, but their marketing department are a bunch of mindless jerks who will be the first against the wall when the revolution comes. (apologies to Douglas Adams)

Damn, he/she will certainly be one lucky kid. I’m in my 20s and even though I do love my little nippy car, I would totally trade it in for an electric scooter like this.
But the problem is the price and the autonomy
6:00 - The lame marketing crap subsides and they actually show the bike and describe the features for a few minutes instead of showing a jump cut video montage of skate boarding, dancing, skating and other lifestyle marketing crap.

すばらしい発進性能と無線キーの使いやすさと軽快な外見。あとは日本版の充電時間などの仕様がどう決められるのか気になるところ（ドイツは家庭用コンセントが 230 V だが日本では主に 100 V）。そしてコンフォートシートとシート PRO (HIGHLINE) が同等のクッション性・厚み (+20 mm) なのか。
Despite the old school and very deliberate marketing, this product seems to be the beginning of a smart direction for bmw moto. Nice little add on to the families squad of vehicles. Should be equally targeted to dads as much as young lads.

Nice to see that BMW, being mainly associated with rich, fat old farts like myself, being the only motorcycle brand to bring something truly innovative and hopefully reaching a younger crowd, leaving fossils (read: fuel and old farts) behind. (Prices aside). This makes me even more curious for a CE05? CE07? I am however a little disappointed in the so called ‘fast’ charging option, 6,7kW isn’t what I call fast these days…

Honestly, it’s a pretty good price compared to previous electric scooters and motorbikes on the market which we’ve seen go well above 10 or even 15 or £20,000. Plus the target audience here Usually they do have the kind of money needed, but I’m sure thanks to recent trends, generally being forced upon them by China, the prices will keep going down even more.

Der CE 02 hat seine Marktstart erst im Frühjahr 2024, bis dahin musst Du Dich leider noch etwas gedulden und beispielsweise so lange im Metaride Probefahren. 😊

It's a cool looking bike and I'm glad BMW is trying new things but who said 50ish miles of range and starting at over $8,000 was a good idea? Anyone that wants a runabout will get a scooter or one of Honda's mini-moto lineup and if they want electric they will pick up an e-bike that can run on bike paths.
Now if the CE04 was $8k you might have something.

Roberto artist from berlin, XD we all know there was one famous painter in Germany and he helped to develope German Motorrad industry but I think Roberto will be not so successful with this ce02. ok it will be cheap in production and have high selling price. but teenagers will not buy them cause they can ride it in metaverse without charging batteries after 1 hour riding.

Mr BMW, I bought a BMW R1250GS and they gave me an old halogen headlight, I want my adaptive led headlight NOW, when they are going to change it, it is a shame the treatment they are giving us users who already bought the motorcycle, I have 9 months waiting, I want my lighthouse NOW!!!

@@cagr4249 You are childish and very stupid to doubt me, without knowing anything about this issue in my country, in Spain they have not changed 800 affected motorcycles, nor 50 headlights, in the US the affected users have filed a lawsuit against BMW .

@@stefanwiechmann4808 actually I read this ok bmw official page that was the range I know the top speed is 28 and 59 but that is different let me see if I can quote it
@@stefanwiechmann4808 There is also a 4 kW (5 horsepower) variant which only requires a car driver license in Europe. The difference between the 11 and 4 kilowatt version is that you only have one battery. The range is between 27 to 31 miles (45 to 50 kilometers).
@@stefanwiechmann4808 It’s enough punch to enable the two-wheeler to do 0 to 30 mph in three seconds and hit a respectable top speed of 59 mph. The e-motor gets its necessary juice from a pair of air-cooled 1.96-kWh batteries with enough energy for more than 56 miles.

I can see where the CE 02 would be a great option for fun and efficient urban mobility, which is where battery powered bikes shine, but I swear, BMW Motorrad marketing is so offensive in their vapid Gen Z simping that it makes me want to convert a fat tire mountain bike to an e-bike. Are they marketing to college students, and if so, are college students this dumb?
