Kiko has a meme here in Brazil, because there's a mexican comedy series that plays here in Brazil through the years that's named El Chavo del ocho, and in this series has a character named "Quico", it's not written equally, but sounds the same. So people here in Brazil make jokes with that thing. And, in the series has a character named Profesor Jirafales, and that professor gives classes for the character of Kiko. So people are making jokes about that in specific, like if the professor had taught kiko these techniques on guitar.
Among all the current virtuoso guitarists, Kiko makes his way with a unique style, sounds that are born from the soul, he no longer needs so much pyrotechnics to stand out from everyone, which simply gives him the freedom to let his fretboard speak, without undoubtedly one of my favorite tracks from your latest album, greetings from Santiago de Chile, where we all love you and hope to see you live in the near future!

We'll miss you in Megadeth, but if this new chapter means we get more Kiko solo material (and an amazing talent like Teemu gets a shot at the big leagues), then maybe that's a net positive for the guitar/metal community. Open Source is phenomenal, and that introduced me to the rest of your solo material, which is incredible as well. More Kiko solo material makes the world a better place.
Muito legal ver como o Kiko adiciona elementos novos, mas mantém muito bem sua essência musical. Isso é bem perceptível nesse tema depois do riff com a guita de 8 cordas. Tem aquele uso de alavanca a la Scott Henderson e Jeff Beck, um swing meio samba em uma parte e uma harmonia bem característica, que chega a ser um cacoete do Kiko hehe. Ansioso pra ouvir o resto do álbum.

Finally Kiko you play bends in your compositions; you are certainly one of those who try to make themselves interesting in interviews. However very good piece.
For me two things that always stand out for me as characteristic of a guitarist's signature is their bends and their vibratos.Yours are unmistakable. On an unrelated note, I'd love to see you collab with Mark Tremonti on a song sometime. Feel like your two styles would be quite complementary
