I really like this pattern. It would be really cute using Christmas fabric too! 🌲
My thoughts exactly!
Love Misty's "oops!" It reminds me not to get upset when I make my oops!
This IS pretty! The fabric choices make all the difference!
And that being said, I also love the Missouri Star, behind you, all done in pinks! I don’t think I’ve ever seen that one before. I’ve never been too crazy abt that pattern bf; but I’m pretty sure it was the fabric combos used, that I didn’t like. Sometimes it’s hard to see past the colors that aren’t your favorites, to imagine a different color scheme. But, boy, this pink one is REALLY pretty!!! 🌷
This is such an easy pattern, and I love making table runners!!❤❤❤
Super super cute tablerunner. Really enjoyed this one. Thanks Miss Misty.
It amazes me how you can keep coming up with Star blocks. I really like this one, thank you Misty! And thanks for showing us short cuts to making those 9 patches, so very helpful.
That’s a good idea to lay the fabric out to make your lines. Less confusion on star block especially.
I love this, and yesterday, while looking for something else, yep I found the perfect combo of Christmas fabric! I’ll post a pic later! Thanks Misty for your Joy
Thank you, Misty. This is a really pretty pattern and beautifully explained. Christmas runner gifts, here we come!
Nice runner Misty, I want to make this! I love your colors too!
I love this pattern and the fabric. So bright and cheerful.
I so love the time saving tips for making the star block! Amazing how it comes together
What a gorgeous fabric line, the colours are so pretty. 😍
The blocks didn’t go together the way I was expecting. They do make a beautiful table runner and the bright pink binding frames it nicely.
Gorgeous- the colours are so pretty together. I also love the quilt behind you. The pinks are beautiful. Would love details on that quilt. I need instructions to follow with the cutting and colur placement 😂
This will make a great Christmas runner. Thank you
That’s exactly what I was thinking too.
I am making one for Halloween.👻
Such a cute block. I like learning new ideas. You're never to old to learn. Thanks Misty.🤗🤗👏👏👏❤
Misty, I owe you an apology. On Fridays video I called you Melissa. Not sure what the heck I was thinking. Love your videos and this table runner is perfect size.
the table runner is very pretty. i love the colors in the Missouri star behind you to.
Thank you Misty. Pretty fabrics and fantastic project.
😂❤n
I will definitely make this table runner. I seem to be making a lot of table runners and pillows lately. Enjoyed your video as always!
Love it!🤩 Thank you from Norway Misty 👋
Beautiful ❤ great job! Will definitely be doing this one !! Thanks for sharing
Misty, I love this pattern. I have been looking for a pattern to make for fall. I think this will work great!
So pretty!
I love how you get a double star in the design!
This would be cute using seasonal fabric!
loved the short cuts
I’d like to see this in a quilt with the light small squares in the diagonal. Very pretty block
Really gr8 work, we can use small pieces of clothes to make it....good thought...
I think I'll make this out of Fall fabrics and hang it on my front door outside!
I love this runner and it’s easy for a quick gift ❤
Thank you Misty, it looks fabulous 😊
Very pretty. I love it, it would make a beautiful quilt.
Love the colors! This would be fun with fall or holiday colors, too. And your top matches the table runner and the quilt in the background. 😊
Ooooohh, I love it!!!
What a fun way to make this block!
Just gorgeous! Hugs, Chel 🌸
I will have to make one of these! This is a beautiful runner!

Very pretty!
So adorable! 🥰 thanks.
Thx Misty for th clear instructions
It's so pretty ❤
Beautiful
Love this!
So pretty❤
Would make a lovely quilt
It’s a beautiful table runner. What season would you use it for?
Lively
I love this, it’s so pretty! If I wanted to make a baby quilt would I make 12 blocks? And what are the finished quilt block measurements?
(16 x 16)Also last question, would it be better to buy layer cake not 5 inch pack? Thank you!
That sounds about right. If blocks are 16”, 12 blocks would make it 48 x 64, kinda big for baby quilt, but that’s up to you. A layer cake will allow you to make many more blocks, of course. Have fun with this cute pattern!
I see you use your cutting board for the measurements and not your ruler. My lines are too thick so the measurements are not accurate
I use my ruler every time. I have a couple of different cutting matts which I use dependant on where I sew, so if I use them my sewing is not accurate.
I tend to cut according to my mat, too. What I have done is take my trusted ruler and lay it out on my mat. If my marks on my ruler line up then my measurements are good to go. Her mat loos like a Tula Pink mat & her mat is accurate.
The Olfa cutting mat company once did a video and said that they recommend using their rulers for accuracy and not the lines on their cutting mats. And that’s the manufacturer saying that.
I think people do it the way they were initially taught. I cut using the rulers as my guide.
@@melissaburke5682I also use my ruler in conjunction with my mat. I've learned to rely mostly on my ruler, but placing it in the center of the mat marks is usually good to go...
Hello MSQCo, can you make a session showing us some of the most used quilting-we barely get a glimpse of the pattern of quilting when you display the finished work, and I haven’t found this on your website yet.
What is the fabric of the quilt hanging behind misty?
I’d love a tutorial and fabric line of that as well!!!
What pattern is the quilt behind you in this video - I know it’s a Missouri Star block but would love to get the pattern
Here is the Missouri Star Quilt pattern you're looking for: www.missouriquiltco.com/products/missouri-star-quilt-pattern-by-missouri-star?variant=39280641900579
Can you make a quilt like this? Do you have a pattern? Thank you.
Hi Cute runer. What is a "star leg".???
The legs are the points of the star.
i thought i'd check this out ,..and see if anything improved. but nope
exact same vocabulary each tutorial...impossible to watch
quilting teachers have become robots inducing dreariness instead of inspiring
There's only so many different terms in quilting, so I'm sure it sounds a bit repetitive at times. However, I find the MSQ videos quite inspiring. Sad that you don't.
Your tutorials feel half done. Are you not given enough time. Not for beginners.
You can always pause video and/or rewatch.
She pretty much shows each step. I consider myself a confident beginner and I have no problems following along.
