Ahhh, the good old charms of Sims 1. I would absolutely love to see a remaster of this gem of the past. Only graphically speaking and maybe some aspects, such as animation speed and fluidity, but nothing else. What made Sims 1 the thing that created a whole genre was the charms and simple idea that was about it. I remember the day my brother bought it and played it, I just watched along with my other brother and their friends, we all pooled in the idea of making a Sim who would live in the worst possible dump ever and still somehow manage to keep him happy, it was quite the adventure. I miss those days, I wish I had perfect memory sometimes just to relive those moments. Such is life, I can only hope a remaster happens one day.
That is what I always thought this way thinking this whole The Sims 1 complete collection must make a comeback to PS4, PS5, Xbox One X, and Nintendo Switch with new mods downloads and the Magic Mirror as options.

She spent weeks making money, moving up in her job, and slowly adding on to her house. She finally reached a point where she had enough money for a fireplace, but shortly after the addition, it burned the house down. And she accidentally saved it while backing out of the game. She was crying when she called to tell me what happened to Kyle and Emily's house 😭 it was a heartbreaking moment in our 4th grade lives
this is my childhood and the music is the ultimate destressor for me my entire life so far. brings me back to the days when making a house and running a sims life is my only problem
This is the only version of the Sims i truly love. The other ones are nice but sims 1 with the expansion packs will always be my favorite. Also this house is amazing.
I like to play this in my house when I clean/organize 🎉 listening with Bluetooth headphones is a GAMECHANGER 😂 Can blast the build music without worrying if my neighbors think I'm crazy

I was soooo hoping that you'll double check 4:30 and I am so happy that you did :D as he was choosing outfits one of them was glitched out because you can't see anything except the arms and the head, he kept looking for more but he ended up double checking I bet he was like "what the hell was that let me double check if I'm not high or something"
i realized that building these giant mansions in sims1 was useless as the day moved so fast you literally spent half the day moving from one end of the house to the other.

Right click on the .exe and go to compatibility, find compatibility mode and tick the box and select "Windows XP (Service pack 2)" from the dropdown. Also tick "Run as administrator" from this section. It should now launch properly. Keep in mind if you want to have widescreen gameplay then you will need to download the Sims 1 widescreen patch. I would link it but I'm afraid YT will delete the comment so just google that and you should find it. It will have instructions of how to set it up. If you do use that it will create a new .exe so make sure to check it copied the settings you set up in the first part of my comment. It should copy them but just check to be safe. Hope this works for you!
