2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 clearly states that Tribulation and God’s Wrath aren’t the same. This brother needs to take a closer look at the text. We are the Fifth Seal of The Tribulation and I pray that many eyes are opened. Thinking that we are better than our a Nigerian brethren who are being slaughtered, our Chinnesse brethren, our Korean brethren- when The Lord makes no exemption is going to catch many believers by surprise. Just look at the news- Persecution has already begun in Western Democracies and is going to uptick and undiscerning believers won’t know till it knocks at their door. I’m not denying the Rapture- the Scripture doesn’t support a Pre Trib Rapture, neither is the 70th Week of Daniel The Great Tribulation Only. The 70th Week of Daniel is composed of unsealing of the seals-the release of the four horses (which are described in the Olivet Discourse) follow by the fifth seal ( our greatest time of testing). After the fifth Seal the cosmological & Seismological events make our rescue eminent. The 7th Seal announces God’s Wrath as in 1 Thessalonians 5:9 says that we have not being appointed onto Wrath because Jesus endured it on our behalf. If every believer truly took God at His Word without the need of a theologian or guru- searching the scriptures with love for the truth-at a minimum you will question First before saying amen.
You may be correct in your assumptions. However, I do not believe you are. The biggest issue I have is how you state your opinions as facts and, in my reading, without humility. The Bible strongly supports a pre tribulation rapture. I recommend you study the significance of God’s designated feasts and how the relate to Christ’s first and second comings. Look at the feasts with a Jewish understanding and not a Western understanding. 2Thessalonians 2 talks about the Day of the Lord. Many learned people take this as referring to the actual day Jesus returns. This would be the literal interpretation, yes? Christians will suffer. That implication of yours is correct. The implication that we will suffer during the tribulation I see as coming from flawed assertions. The fifth seal likely refers to those saved during the tribulation and after the removal of the church during the rapture. There are other assertions you make I find incorrect as well with the understanding that my own may be incorrect. Note: I do not attend the church where this pastor preaches. My understanding comes from my own study and from where I believe the Holy Spirit has lead me.
