Had a similar situation with my family. The house needed repair and was behind on taxes. Let's just say my family member no longer lives there and the house has been renovated and is now being leased out.
I feel like the father is to blame here. Really it was his mother’s home and his daughter is the one taking care of it. So really he has no business to make any complaints unless he wants to chip in for the renovations.
