I spent Valentine's Day celebrating my son Ragnar's very first birthday. Can you imagine, he's one year old!!! Addendum: As a Swede I appreciate you celebrating Valentine's by going to Ikea and eating our national dish. Feels like a declaration of your love to me.
It might be a good idea to send the Edoras army straight to the front, filling in gaps with merged units in Cair Andros. You want to keep your momentum, possibly skipping the Brown Lands/Dead Marshes and go straight for the Black Gate with Elrond/Durion. Keep up the good work!
You should have had the ballista shooting at the great beasts. Even if they got massacred for their trouble, that would have given you an additional archer unit (at half strength but still), as well as you would have had a good chance of hitting one or more great beasts. It could have made a big difference in your final casualties. Also, you should have charged the Great Beasts while they were just strolling along. That is when they are weak to cavalry charges. Had you sent your heavy knights or eldarinwe roquen out with the rangers... Oh well. What is done is done. But yes, you had a very bad army comp vs. Great Beasts. Not enough archers, not any javelins, and just one ballista which did literally nothing.
Hello, my friend. I agree with the general plan that you already have, finish Dol Guldur as soon as possible, while Elrond, Dornornoston and Maernil descend from the North to take up their armies. Ciryatan should go to help Gondor from the west, so as to liberate all of their regions and get a much needed alliance - and since we consider your recruiting sprew, he might find useful a captain stack to help him in Gondor. If you manage to cut the territory of the Black Tower in half, you will give a lot of aid to your alliles and you will have a good path for Durion to destroy the One. In Cair Andros you have a good path towards Mordor, thus the Talfagoronost army should merge with the Cair Andros one to replenish troops and wait until you get more armies and generals from Edoras to hit in Minas Tirith and the two Osgiliaths. You shall find it very useful to have a dimplomat besides any Gondorian land to give them back what they have lost. Keep the investments for your economy, as well as the retraining of your armies. And now, let's add another small episode for our story: Maernil finally decided to move from Eorlstone and followed the roads his people built along the Misty Mountains. His intention was to go close to Lorien for a council with Galadriel, before descending down to Rohan and join the battles around the Anduin. Ancalagon was still with him. "Aren't you going to join Durion and his forces?", the King asked. "Not yet", Ancalagon said. "My wife writes that she is with him still and they are close to the Anduin. They are to meet your force that hit Achnod Iaun and Elrond descending from Amon Lanc". "Yes, I sent him to end Dol Guldur", Maernil said. "Did Achnod Ian fall?". "Indeed", Ancalagon said. "Our archers are the most superior force in Middle Earth and wherever they go, the Orcs are eliminated and the Darkness stays back". "That's very good", Maernil said. "Let's hope that our allies will hear us". Ancalagon didn't speak. "We also control Cair Andros", Maernil said. "Our forces now touch Mordor and have pushed the Black Horde east of the Anduin. I told Ciryatan, however, to amass any possible armies west of the Gap of Rohan and hit into Gondor through Cirith Iaur, to help the Steward". "That's very good", Ancalagon said. "However, Sauron still has a lot of power. And he remains more powerful than us, with long hands and many warlords under his command". "I'm very aware of this", Maernil said. "But I need your councel in this: is it better to get Dornornoston down to Dor Naurhach as well, or send him orders to march deeper into Mirkwood to aid Thranduil?". "The second option", Ancalagon said. "Cut the forces of Mordor in half, so as to gain more allies in the East within Erebor, Dale and Dorwinion, they need all the help we can offer. And we'll give a good puzzle to Sauron". Then, Ancalagon turned his horse to run south through Lorien territory. He said he wanted to go to his wife and guard Durion, as they were now close.Maernil gave him his best wishes.
You should take a moment to respec your armies a bit. Make sure that Ciryatan has the necessary tools for the job, in case he runs into any great beasts, same for Maernil and the others, of course. I am not sure mariners are that much better than noldor archers, since I don't think those javelins are armor piercing and the damage is not that much more? Unless they get an extra bonus against great beasts. There should be some ballistae that you can recruit in Enedwaith settlements, IIRC.
The sad part about lategame campaign is that battles take a half of episode becuase they are so big. Especially against mordor which bogs you down like this and drain the will to live with their endless spam of stacks.
I’m a couple episodes behind, but I’m wondering what the plan is right now or if it has changed at all, like are you going for completely conquering middle earth of something else?
I hope we'll gonna see the Moon Guard in action at least once before the end of the campaign. Otherwise it was so much pain to get them to no avail
Can't wait to watch it! Thanks for another episode. Loving the series!

I believe that Drangu is a starting warg general for Angmar. Could be wrong though.

Ost-in-Anduin or Amon Anduin are good names
Feels like Cair Andros needs to be renamed to Kereyant andros (sp?). The OG General.

You should destroy all the unnecessary buildings in your settlements. It might take a minute but you could get a lot of money
When is the Moon Temple finished? (And yes... I was watching. I did indeed warn you. ;) )

First!
