One problem, you might think is just a point of semantics: Gundam is not about "Sympathy"(emulation of other people's emotions via reasoning) but "Empathy"(the real-time deep connection~unity of hearts) which allows actual perception rather than mental approximation. With sympathy, one can not perceive in others what has never been first felt in personal experience, empathy, however, allows previously unknown sensations to flow between hearts, granting a united experience of emotion(s).
for future reference for everyone who sees this comment don't complain scroll down a little bit and there you can find another comment he type that explains himself.....
Hello from 8 years in the future. I really think this was beautifully said. That is exactly what gundam is about. Empathy. Empathy is the true nature of the human race.
This video shows all the positive messages that anime can provide. I'm going to drag as many people as I can here to see this video if its the last thing I do....BANSHEE!! (Flies off in epic fashion)
Gundam as a whole does have credit for changing anime history and causing animes to have these kinds of story. We can take much from these shows and reflect on ourselves, it's just so great.
It's a shame Anime shows what we could do, such as expand into space, and ways to deal with the issues going on in the world, but we can't follow them. And 'dem feels!
ThePhoenix743 We cannot fully follow them, but we can learn from them and take in the lessons into our own personal lives. We can all change this world even if it's a small change, it's a change whihc at least affects those around us.
@@Risedarkblade so, in other words; "the light within the Human heart" shines through us all, albeit in limited to the pulse of our individual heart and range of the emergent imagination?
@@linyenchin6773 Yes but much like the light of the psychoframe the more hearts that shine the bigger the light becomes. The more people that work towards brightening the future the better our chances become. Small changes from Individual hearts when combined to become massive changes that can improve Humanity.
I may be jumping the gun and I may have bias for both Gundam and your AMVs, but, damn.. This has to be the best AMV of all time, man. I love everything about it.
Man I can not stop watching this AMV. It's so good. Can't help but just feel different feelings from this AMV. It's so good, the songs, the dialogue. Marvelous. I would even say this AMV should get highlighted by Bandai itself. It conveys so many feelings and it fits with Gundam as a whole and I love it. I can't fully describe it at all.
Maybe the one time that I actually WANT to watch a whole series Also, we need more of this kind of storytelling rather tha just fanservice everywhere :v
Well gundam does focus on it's sotry telling instead of fan service so it's good. Also just if you didn't know, Gundam Unicorn is only a 7 episode OVA.
***** It's only seven episodes, but if you really want the whole picture and for it to be as meaningful as it should be you need to watch the entire Universal Century up to that point. Great OVA and fantastic conclusion to the Federation/Zeon conflict. One of the best endings I have ever seen.
This is probably not conveyed via my initial comment but I appreciate this video a lot, it is brilliantly composed, the excerpts you've chosen represent what I believe is the heart of the Unicorn Gundam ova series. Thank you very much ^_^
This is one of if not the best AMV I've ever seen. Absolutely fantastic work :D And for those wondering (like I was), the song that plays when the Kshatriya explodes and Marida dies is "Remind You". I went through the entire OST looking for that :P
+The RUclips Rookie No reason TBH, as someone who actually read the light novel series - that change made to that scene made me scratch my head. In the Novel, not only was her final outing a much better showing - she utterly wrecked Sinanju, thrashed him so hard that the Char Wannabe had to run with his tail between his legs, but also - her death played the Heroic Sacrifice trope 100% straight. It's been like two years since i read the novel, but IIRC she was outmatched by Banshee so she resorted to trying to talk it out with Mr. Blue Balls, and like in the OVA was doing a good job of it. Just as he was coming around, Mineva said something that *really* set him off, so in a fit of rage, Riddhe fired at her - i.e the Argama. Having a moment to spare, Marida made the only choice available to her - jumped in front of the particle beam. Whereas in the OVA, she just sat there and took it, getting herself killed in order to... i dunno, make a point? The hilarity is exacerbated by the fact that unlike in the novel - she was doing a damn good job against Riddhe, effectively disarming him and being the only one to actually inflict *actual damage* upon an Unicorn. It's not outside the realm of possibility, that due to his arguably inferior skill and obvious mental instability - she could have continued the battle and either talk him down or take him down without killing him. So in essence, A Heroic Sacrifice became a Stupid Sacrifice(sure it's heroic, it worked - but was it actually *needed*?) If i had to guess, id wager that old habits die hard. After all, _half her life was focused on sitting still and taking IT, or several ITS at once_ ... Hue hue hue hue xD It all pales in comparison to the worst change however - the novel there was no Neo Zeong, the final battle between Banana and Frontal WAS ON FOOT, WITH LEAD PIPES!
Altair28 Probably meant to repeat the sacrifice of a female cyber-newtype for the main male pilots (Lalah for Amuro and Char, Four for Kamille, Ple and Ple 2 for Judah). You know, show that shit in the UC hasn’t changed. The Unicorns vs the Neo Zeong was also meant to mirror the UC 0079 last showdown between Amuro and Char, minus the sword fight that follows. Also, if do you know what company sells the translated Unicorn LN? I’d like to read them.
In the words of my OC Cecil Meller "I was built with no future in mind, I was never meant to survive, yet here I am in the Gundam, the only father and siblings I knew are gone, all I have left is my wife and my children. Thanks to possibility, I CAN MAKE THAT FUTURE! PHENEX!!!!!!!!"
Hello, how are you, hey, I'm asking you for help finding a song, this song is by the band t.m.revolution, but no matter how much I search for their entire repertoire of songs, I can't find it anywhere. I knew the song from a Gundam Unicron AMV, from the same time when you made your AMVs, as you may have seen it. I know the most important part is where we see the Kshatriya fighting against the Stark Jegan, later in the emotional part of the song the scene happens where Banagher's father dies and he enters the Unicron. and the video ends with the transformation of the Unicron gundam into its destroy mode. Please help me find the name of the song.
unicorn gundam was ok the story was good but the people are very rude to teach other and clueless there is a war going on and to optimistic at some points.
shadethehedgehog4 The Federation isn't evil, it just has people only looking for their own interests in it, like any form of government. The Zabi's are an example too, dropping a Colony on Earth killing so many. The Box was shown but nothing changed at all, it all still goes to shit as we see in later Gundam shows.
+shadethehedgehog4 It's not exactly the federation because the leaders of the Federation and that family (forgot the name lol) where scad of loosing the power. but the people in the federation wanted a change. But then again i can see your point especially if you've seen gundam F91
no one is evil there, they are just doing what they believe is right and the best solution.in the show the federation does not want the zeon to get they hands on the LA plus box as they know that it would bring an end to the federation.i am sure they know that it is cruel but it is war,war is cruel.
I... love the unicorn series but I hate Audrey. She uses Banahger through this entire story and only needs him cuz he has fhe gundam. So many times she throws him under the bus and undermines him despite how fucking devoted he is to her. She wants zimmerman to side with them and sounds so desperate but I don't hear the Princess that wants to help her people I here a girl desperate for her plans to come to bear fruit and things about to collapse because this one person. She goes from loving banahger to back stabbing and undermining him at the drop of a hat and I can't stand it

I'm not gonna lie, these voice actors did a damn good job for the English dub.
Agreed, the english dub for this is pretty good.
+The RUclips Rookie this may be the first time the Eng dub is better than the original
+ConvictedSauces The 08th MS Team Eng Dub is also pretty good.
i know i loved the 08Th but the thing i its the first time when the eng dub is better than subbed since 2000
I've only very recently started following the Gundam craziness :'D Forgive me for not realizing the dates lmao

best mech designs all around

church348 Yup, I do really like this Dub along with the Gundam 00 Dub.
One day Gundam will be real...this Amv is perfect...it's Amazing!
It is real, what you mean is materialized as a form that our bodies can interact with as we venture into the space age. No?
Wow this is amazing, nice job editing together all those good message.
I love Gundam unicorn.
Gundam Unicorn sure is lovable.
yes you're right it is a very emotional anime
This is probably the most beautiful amv I've seen, it perfectly summarizes everything good about unicorn
I always love Tara Platt's voice and she voiced Marida Cruz so perfectly

In the end people will always hurt one another no matter the reason, this is the greatest tragedy of Humanity.

It’s on RUclips
nice AMV, but lacks more neo zeong
Thanks, and I know it does, but it simply doesn't fit much into this, since it's more on the emotions than mobile suits.
hhmmm... I was expecting the battlecry of banagher when it got caught with neo zeong, that was the scene where unicorn is about to cut sinanju's limbs
