Instead of walking the streets he should go to a senior housing facility They'd get the jokes He'd make enemies He'd make friends Real reality TV I'd watch that
I fucking love that Jimmie Lee is stealing jokes from Groucho Marks a comedian born in 1890, Jimmies Old timey jokes are older than World War fucking one
Still one of the greatest moments of the show's history. Everything is perfect. Jimmie sincerely trying, Stavros being brutally honest and Ethan laughing like a child. Gold. Don't push!!
@@BirchWeber been thinking about this alot actually, from everything that was said when you really listen to the words and not just Dan yelling. all Jimmie did was put his arm around a girls waist like he's done anytime in any of the street comedy which they watched on the show. Dan says his girlfriend said Jimmie was putting his hands around her waste and touching her. they didn't say he assaulted her or do anything. to me it seems like they just made something out of nothing to get rid of Jimmie cause other than the mason accusations he didn't do anything that he hadn't done every single time he's made an appearance. he does the arm around the waist to guys and girls it really seems like they threw him under the bus
@@man.itz.ashton Except that it was more than putting an arm around a waist. The allegations are that he spanked Mason's girlfriend. Dan said he was kissing the other girl and making inappropriate comments about loving her and her being beautiful even after she made it clear she was uncomfortable. And he did all of this off camera, off stage so it's not like it's something he can wave away as an offensive comedy bit. Honestly not surprising to discover that in real life he actually really is a philandering perv going behind his wife's back to harass women without consent. You're right it's the same old Jimmy... but I think the problem is that all of this behavior isn't just an act for the character of Jimmy Lee; it's who he actually is as James Weiner.
the main reason why jimmy doesn't click with anybody, is that he is overly confident and not confident at the same. like he's aggressive, yet totally insecure and scared. that just clashes to no end and let's face it... you need one hell of a charisma to make anybody laugh about those grandpa jokes
Stav is totally insecure about himself but uses it to his advantage and in turn makes him confident in his comedy when he gets laughs. As is the case with most stand up comedians, but Jimmy is confident in himself and not at all in his comedy lol
@@MorganFreemanPsalm there is a difference between being self-aware and making fun of yourself and being aggressive to people, while at the same time shitting your pants
Yeah but that's why I like him, he seems very genuine, that's rare in a lot of people. I do think people take themselves too seriously tbh, plus they don't understand that Jimmy is pretty self-aware, he gets he's not funny, that's the whole point, obviously it works because hes known lol. You can really tell this is true because of how funny he is just being himself, but that doesn't get clicks and views, him going out in public and being cringe gets views.
46:39 one of the few times where you can accurately heckle “that joke’s like a hundred years old” lol I feel like Jimmy once read the quote “good artists borrow, great artists steal” and then used that to justify him reciting a joke verbatim from Groucho Marx, one of the greatest comedic minds of the 20th century
I honestly think Jimmy has potential. He is a naturally funny man, but his actual jokes are terrible. Idk what he needs to do to make it work but he's funny when he's just talking.
if jimmy lee recognized the absurdity of the disconnect he has with his audience and sad delusion about himself in general i think he could be genuinely funny. but then if that were to happen he probably wouldn’t do this at all… as stavos said: the paradox of jimmy lee
I don’t know anything about what the average comedian is like behind the scenes, but Stavros seems like he could be a college professor. Like he’s a expert in comedy theory and history and if he was on your PhD committee, he would just rip you a new one during your thesis defense …but in a good way, since that’s his job
I figured it out, half of the audience (myself included) lovessss Jimmie, and I think the reason is because he’s an older guy. I feel like if a 30 year old was doing this, no one would be laughing, but since he’s older people find it innocent lol
i think stavos told him the exact advice he needs to take.. hes funny on accident he should keep doing it and do it as cheap as possible make more yt vids they're funnnny..
32:52 that was so brutal 😅 but I’m glad that he’s giving him advice tho! He needs advice but honestly the table 37- leave. Then the old lady too😭😭 I laughed so hard bro. I loved it for how funny it was, it’s only the hurt to real people that’s all. We just gotta figure out how to get him to merge the funny part and the mean into a beautiful audience that can support u
2 things, 1 as someone who's watched Ethan and Hila since the waterpark video days this is one of the funniest moments on any live pod they've done ever for me. Especially 34:30 ish, 42:40 ish and 1:00:34. Secondly, i always think Gervais could do something with Jimmy much like he did with Karl.
Does anyone know what episode they are referring to with the psychiatrist they had on who "diagnosed" jimmy with histrionic personality disorder? i dont remember seeing that but sounds hilarious
Weirdly an amazing combo since Stavros laughs at literally everything, he's the perfect audience for Jimmy.
it was such a brilliant move to bring Jimmy on with stavvy
Instead of walking the streets he should go to a senior housing facility
They'd get the jokes
He'd make enemies
He'd make friends
Real reality TV
I'd watch that
I like where your head's at
That’s actually a really good idea … old people would find him funny
I remember in like the first jimmy Lee interview he talked about only joking with his older clients cause he knew they'd kill
yes i want to see him get kicked out of a nursing home
This is one of my favorite segments ever.
1000% agreed. Although Stavy seeing the prolapse video was so good it made me almost cry laughing
It's so good I wish I could scream laughing without looking insane
I can’t stop watching it
Me too! It’s so rewatchable

Jimmie respects the public domain.
norm macdonald did the same kinda stuff but just executed it so much more seamlessly and thats genuinely what i think sets them apart
god jimmie is naturally so funny and then when he tries his self awareness goes to shit lmao
Yeah so natural lmao stfu!!

“Different types of flavors of hot dogs” alone is one of the funniest things Jimmie has ever said.
Jimmy is hilarious when he’s not doing jokes lol. He is a naturally funny man
He's a funny guy

The Tommy Wiseau of comedy
I don't know if yall are aware but jimmy is wearing his pinks hat
I like how he out right insults jimmy, jimmy just goes so ur saying I’m going places and you’ll endorse me. I mean what can u really say about that
Man Ethan looks like he has a filter on when watching back on these
the "drop drape and droop it" bit works on the 78th time he just has to stick with it
i was working out while listening to this segment and almost dropped my weights from laughing. thank you
Everything's funnier when you're lifting
Same, fellow iron slingers. 🫡
This whole bit had me laughing harder than most other bits they've done.
that and the first restaurant call, jimmy assaulting people is just genuinely funny but that obviously isn't a sustainable bit lol

“got my eye on you” ????? LMAOOOOO
I honestly think Jimmy has potential. He is a naturally funny man, but his actual jokes are terrible. Idk what he needs to do to make it work but he's funny when he's just talking.
He’s like a comedian Tim Heidecker would pretend to be.
So that's where the "All different flAvours" soudbite comes from omg

34:34 this breakdown of Jimmy's comedy/art is so perfect
I’m not surprised stav doesn’t get it,
They’re just old timey jokes.
It also doesn’t help that its not funny in the slightest. Its “humor” for people with too many chromosomes.
The jokes aren’t funny it’s funny that he’s actually saying that shit to random people
@@zazastugibababooey So is the h3 podcast, lol
I really hope you get the reference too old timey jokes and don’t actually think that I find it funny in the slightest 😂😂

hes just an asshole tf u mean a blessing to the world 💀

I'm pretty sure his idea of "making it" is just being on TV.

One of the best segments, when Jimmy was telling Stavros no you said that and he was like right let's fucking settle down here pure gold
Sons of Bitch is an iconic phrase
I figured it out, half of the audience (myself included) lovessss Jimmie, and I think the reason is because he’s an older guy. I feel like if a 30 year old was doing this, no one would be laughing, but since he’s older people find it innocent lol
I thought we were laughing AT him
This hour started so rough but by the end it was literally so wonderful I was laughing at every second
Stavros laughed more than I in my life during that hour and someone still can say Jimmy is a bad comedian?
i think stavos told him the exact advice he needs to take.. hes funny on accident he should keep doing it and do it as cheap as possible make more yt vids they're funnnny..
I've watched this 5 times. A hall of fame segment.
24:06 they showed this on the show I still can’t fucking believe it 💀😭
Jimmy would fit in perfect with the "hack pack" group of comics that used to appear on the Howard Stern show.

I love Jimmy, such a sweetheart. I think he has like a Norm McDonald thing going on, where he's funny to other comics but less so with the audience.
Dang it’s crazy seeing Ethan here shoutout him
Sometimes, I forget how ridiculous Jimmy can get. Always a treat.
This is undoubtedly one of the funniest things I've ever seen and without Stavy Baby, it wouldn't have been possible.
one of the best hours of my life
The fact that his hotdog ad was the funniest thing he said
He reminds me of a very green Rodney Dangerfield without the timing. He should for sure keep "Don't Push" that's a catch phrase.
kinda feel like getting a hot dog for some reason now
This is the best segment i’ve ever seen
This aged so well
Jimmy has an almost Eric Andre-like quality
Jimmy would be one of my favorite comedy bang bang characters
34:33 what the fuck did he say to that woman? "I'VE GOT MY EYE ON YOU"?
yes, yes he did😭😭 when they first showed that joke a few months back i physically couldn't handle listening to jimmy anymore lmfaoo
Say what you want: Jimmie DID make 2 successful, famous comedians cry with laughter 😂
I only just now noticed that in the “vaudeville slapstick” Jimmie was copying the guy’s movements. Now thats slapstick !
I Fucking died after this
I unironically watch this segment at least once a week bc it cheers me up
This was so god damn funny
This was the most entertaining thing i’ve seen in so long. I love that y’all thought of this

His crowd work/podcast is a lot better than his special imo it’s great when he can riff with folks or pick on them
Best segment in the h3 history
Should have shown him the clip of Jimmie roasting that kid 😂😂😂
Wow if h3 could capture this lightning in a bottle for every episode than I might watch
It’s like Jimmie’s comedic vehicle is a Lamborghini but is operated by blind infant.
I've watched this segment 3 times, and it's still hilarious
Does anyone know what episode they are referring to with the psychiatrist they had on who "diagnosed" jimmy with histrionic personality disorder? i dont remember seeing that but sounds hilarious
I tried looking but it's hard it wasn't in the title it was just a segment on the doc I can't remember when it was
It was in the Ethan turns alpha episode but they clipped it out, it still might be on the spotify version
