Late Summer flight along the Spokane River ID WA Border

decided to do a revisit along the Spokane River along the Washington Idaho Border (Stateline). it is practically idaho along tbe north side of the river, though it doesn't officially change over until till you get past the Wellsley Ave intersection. road name changes too from Apple Way to Seltice way (eventually comes out in Couer d Alene as well. yeah about the car next to me, the guy pulled up while I was flying. had thought he was going to get out or say something, but he was just sitting there reading some newspaper. might have just been a curious onlooker. I have remote id for my drone (holy stone module) and it does broadcast the location of the drone and where it took off from. people can see the drones location via drone scanner apps, you never know who could see the broadcast or what they do with it. I wish I could just leave the module off, but the faa has made it mandatory to use. still lack of privacy while flying can lead to unintended consequence. can encourage pilots to turn off remote id, especially if the drone scan er apps get abused by the public. plus I am aware of the Kevin's amd Karen's out there too (never know where they can be lurking too). was trying to be selective on where to fly from too. Hauser lake was tempting, but tbe beaches area there tends to be busy at this time of year. Will wait till off season before flying there again. same with the Couer d Alene area. post falls might be worth a revisit thoigj sometime. Palouse area was tempting, but there is a wildfire going on near Plummer Idaho (as of August 2024), so I will have to avoid that area for now. btw there is the gateway park area to the south of the river, however I am not sure what the rules are concerning drones there and plus the centennial trail is technically wa state parks property in the Washington side. however, the pull out I was at was well outside of those boundaries, so it worked well. btw reason why I haven't included music lately is that various music offered via the dji apps tend to be flagged for copyright. haven't gotten any copyright strikes yet, but if I am not careful, background music could get my videos flagged for copyright and 3 strikes in a 6 month period, and i am out. better to err on caution in that one. Will be taking a hiatus on adding music to videos going forward to stay on the safe side of things.
