Tom is an awesome guy and helped me tremendously when i really got into games and now he's a good personal friend and this story is just fantastic and bravo to you and getthegreggames for putting this into the light. We know the biased opinions out there so this won't get talked about much because as you said it doesn't fit their narrative and that should mean something to the people who blindly follow that path. To me its very very telling. So happy for Tom!
I also see those boxes as pieces of art that should be preserved. In the future it will be much more appreciated in my opinion.

It’s funny how people rag on grading sealed video games like this from the 80’s and 90’s. Most of these games are available en-masse in cartridge, rom or reproduction form; so the people that say “well you cant even play it!” Are just haters.
Grading Sealed retro Video Games is the same as grading a comic book, but people don’t seem to say “well now you cant read it!”.
Great pickup. i’ve dealt with Tom & sold him sealed games as well. Happy for him. I know the feeling.

As for boxes, imagine someone having the original cd long boxes from when cds first were introduced. The ones we all hung on our walls. Those were amazing and I wish I still had my Guns N Rose's Use your illusion ones today.

He’s referring to the lack of coverage by social media influencers who bash on high-end video game sales. GetTheGregGames isn’t one of those people.
