Great video! Love your channel and just ordered your digital cookbook and cool new sticker..it's going on the truck as soon as it gets here! Thanks for what you're doing, it's inspiring🏕
Thanks so much! I hope you enjoy the cookbook (let me know if the digital download doesn't come automatically - I just switched systems so I'm still working out bugs).
As I was putting together the section with the CP train I was thinking about how nostalgic that would be for people who have paddled the Spanish. Glad you had a great time on the river!
@@VoyageurTripper that's definitely a bucket list trip for me. Its a very long ways away from me I'm afraid. But I'm fortunate to have many other paddling opportunities locally and provincially.
I was thinking of a Spanish River trip next year. How did you do the shuttle - was it through a company? Also, were the portages in good shape - in case water levels are disasgreeable? Loved the video, BTW.
Hi Bruce! Thanks so much! We only did one portage (around Big Graveyard Rapids I believe) and lined around a few others. We did use some of the others for scouting too. Overall I'd say they were in great shape. We did this trip through MHO Adventures who coordinated the shuttle. In a non-COVID year, Agnew Lake Lodge apparently runs a shuttle. If you wanted to self shuttle with two cars though, the distance isn't very far between the access points so you could do that too :) I hope that helps! I'll get a trip report with logistics posted soon for additional info!
very enjoyable - had me leaning in some of those rapids
Great video Mikaela! Looks like it was a very nice trip!

Just read your article about planning a trip on this river. Ssooooo helpful! Thanks!
Looks like a great route! Thanks for sharing.
It was a great route! Thanks!
Sure are a lot more rocks in June! They must have put those in after we ran it the prior September. Great vid!
Thank you! Yes, the water was quite low for us, especially considering it was only June.

@@davidmodeland429 Oh amazing! As long as you have somewhere to paddle - that's what matters!
Nice…
