after getting fused on by the CPU 1000 times I finally went to a cheat website and printed out a list of all the combos... it was like 20 pages long...

I love how Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon is a viable/meme strat in literally every YGO spin-off game made in the last 20 years. Duel Links, the PlayStation series, the GX GBA game.
They created a Thunder Dragon archetype that was meta in the actual tcg one or two years ago. They had to nerf the shit out of it because was too broken
Was way into the TCG as a kid and trying some of the earlier Yu-Gi-Oh games was a baffling experience. I also like that the in-fiction tournament is called the Yu-Gi-Oh Championship.

They give Simon cards stronger than the Dark Magician and expect you to grind for shitty fucking cards against hard duelists (none are easy) when you don't know any fusions because they are all different now. At least in the original, there is a logic to the fusions. Like riding a bike.

My RNG is absolute trash, in the un-modded game I have racked up over 500 wins on him and still never seen MBD drop.
It took me over 1,000 wins once.

The 15-card drop hack makes this game so much more playable. I could never beat it without resorting to using a Gameshark back in the day.

That's okay! YGOFM was made and published during a time where the official trading card game didn't exist, so its really a hodgepodge of manga rules.
