Anyway...sorry 🤣 ...yes I do think gamepass ultimate is extremely worth it!...i kinda use it as a huge demo disk! Like I trial a game for a good few hours and if I like it I will simply buy it ❤️....also I have 2 kids in my house that absolutely love my game room and luckily gamepass always has something to keep them busy....and on top of that If they happen to be taking both TVs from me, I can just use cloud gaming and play on my phone!!!
I've only had it since Dec 2021 and I've already found 7-8 games on it, games that I've really wanted to play and would've bought but just haven't got to it yet, there's still that of whole level of games that I wouldn't have bought but look good enough to try. It's already more than paid for itself.
Totally agree. There are so many games I wouldn't have paid for, but because they are on Game Pass, I've given them a shot and enjoyed far more than I didn't.
Sorry for the loss of your cat. Pets are family members and it hurts when you lose them. I think Game Pass will be worth it. As a PS5 and Xbox Series X owner, I have Game Pass and Playstation Plus. In my experience so far, I find Game Pass the better value. Much better titles are available on Game Pass so far. As you mention, with Microsoft's acquisition of the game studios, Game Pass should only get better. Sony has a lot of ground to cover to catch up with Microsoft. I have a year subscription to Playstation Plus and when the renewal comes up in December, unless the selection improves, I probably won't renew. My Game Pass is a 3 month subscription and I definitely plan to rewnew it when it comes up.

@@standrew131 - Playstation Plus is just the online component for Playstation, so def not directly competing. PS Now is the closest thing, but I wasn't a fan of the service when I played it. I do know Sony is working on something similar to GamePass, but time will tell what that actually ends up looking like. For me, Game Pass has had a lot of games I've enjoyed so it really is personal preference. With Bethesda, and eventually Activision/Blizzard, that's a pretty big catalog of some great games.

I don't always have gamepass. I got through phases with it. But it is good to have as long as there's stuff on there you want(spoiler there probably is)my condolences about your cat

And when games go off of game pass they are always on sale so if you like the game you can pick it up cheap . great value . I have a xbox Series S with a 6 tb external hard drive where we now have over 300 games on and when we want to play a game that needs to be on the internal hard drive we just copy it over it works great

Game pass is worth it to me. I was on the fence about Warhammer Battle Sector, but because it was on Game pass I was able to download it and try it. So far it's been awesome!

Nintendo, PlayStation has many benefits over there games. But they have to pay allot of service for the platform to run that. That's the benefit that Xbox has Microsoft what's already the Software program.

Any downloaded games while using Game Pass will only last as long as you have Game Pass. The service also doesn't require any time frames so you can cancel or re-start it whenever you want.
I have 2 cats & 2 dogs. My oldest dog will be 17 this year. My other dog & 2 cats are 11, 10 & 9 respectively. Pets are family & I know that loss. As for Gamepass Ultimate, it's definitely worth it. I just got my hands on a Series X, so my youngest son is getting my Series S & will use my account. I have also dipped my toes in Gamepass for PC as well. Managed to get my hands on a PS5 & the PS plus is not worth the $10/month. PS now is worth it for older games/last gen games.

Xbox Gamepass is a great way to try out a ton of games without having to buy them. It's definitely worth it but maybe not to people who either prefer to own games or just want to only play the games they're already interested in.
I've really enjoyed having the opportunity to have Game Pass and try games I normally wouldn't have played. If you enjoy physical games, Game Pass probably isn't the best option. Something like Game Fly might make sense.

I also use my Microsoft points earned to pay for game pass about every other month. Ironically when I have Game Pass Ultimate, I buy more digital games with the deals with gold sales, which is why I don’t subscribe every month.

i get 3 month Ultimate codes on ebay for $30. its only like $5 more than Gold so i get it but if i had to pay $45, id pass and just get Gold. im picky with games and ive already played the ones i wanted to play, the day one games are too few and far between for me.
That makes sense. Over the next year or so, we should start to see more games coming with all of the studios MS has. If you do the rewards program, you can typically cover the cost if you do all of the rewards so that's something to look at as well.

Also if you cancel your service you can still go back and find your saved files if you decide to renew your subscription down the line.

GamePass needs competition so we can get 10 triple A Day One Releases instead of just 3
As more Xbox Studios start to launch titles, we'll see more than one per quarter so I'm looking forward for that.

Typically it wouldn't count together. They'll do a check on their side whether an account is a new account or not.
