What husband was the "miracle." If not for his diplomatic skils and desire to at least be friendly with the new neighbors, these 2 women would likely never have known they were sisters.
My wife found an unknown aunt no one in the family knew about through DNA testing with Ancestry. This aunt was born from my wife's mother's father, her grandfather who was being stationed in Germany in the 50's. He had a kid and never knew and then came back to the US to raise his family 2 daughters and a son. The story gets even crazier after that. This unknown aunt was put up for adoption in Germany, adopted by an American family moved to Rhode Island where she was raised and she had kids who went to school with my wife's father's side of the family 100% unknown to anyone until about 2017 or so.
I think you missed the part where she assumed they would be a nightmare but only stopped when she learned she was related? She sure seems like an awful neighbor to have. I wouldn't say that is very feel good lol

Then her husband extended a hand to Dawn and essentially who turned out to be their brother-in-law. My take was that the home may have been the difficult one on the block, and when she saw it exchange hands yet again (or perhaps it was a rental and was sold by the owners) it was just going to be more of the same. We have been through similar in that sense of the clip, worried if the last occupants were going to be better or worse. Turns out much better for Hillary & Dawn!

Just shows us all again doesn’t it, that things happen for a reason and timing is everything really. I really hope that these two beautiful ladies have thee most amazing and most precious years to come, getting to know each other, REALLY KNOW each other and enjoy every single moment throughout it.
