Great job man! I just picked up a orangewood Austen, my plan was to install the KNK pure mini in it, but I was a bit skeptical. However, after watching your video, for an IR I use the LR baggs, voice print DI. I’m going to stick to my plan. Thanks so much!
Hi, an IR is an Impulse Response. It's a short wav file that is like a snapshot of a room, often used for reverbs or guitar cabinets. Acoustic IRs are often made with match EQs like the MFreeformEqualizer that compare mic'd and pickup signals. To use, either use your DAWs convolution reverb or get a guitar pedal that supports IRs such as the Iridium, Hx stomp, and many more
Hello brother, I see that behind you, you have the m audio oxigen 61, did you change it for the hammer 88 pro? I would like to know if in the end he did not convince you to work on orchestral music. thank you so much
Hi, No I still have the Hammer 88. I live in Vancouver but am in NY for school, so in NY I'm using the Oxygen, while the Hammer is at home in Canada. Really miss it, it's awesome. The Oxygen Pro has the same layout and workflow, so I use it. The keys aren't that great though
I have the Orangewood Hugo Live baritone guitar and although I rarely play it, it is a nice guitar for the price point. The only thing I don't like about it is the rubber coated tuners. Ugh!!
Took a gamble and ordered this guitar… was already looking at ordering another model if this one went well but when I received my Brooklyn, the neck and headstock were twisted and the nut was sanded to fit the twist. Bizarre. Not sure how this passed inspection or the “professional” setup… needless to say I sent it back. No more orange wood for me. The response I got was, “but does it affect playability?” Lol

Honestly sounds fantastic for the price! Thanks for the in depth analysis and comparison! 👏
Love the projection of the body shape and the consistency! Joy to play each week. Pickup is fantastic too! Thanks so much for the install~~ 😉😍
Awesome video! I’m totally new to IR but that sounds great! How does IR work? Do you have some gear you recommend for that?

nice video
Thanks!
Great video! What IR did you use with the K&K? It sounds amazing?
It’s a custom IR I made with the guitar itself and a Rode NT1A
@@DIDCHOI do you have it available for download?

Yeah the tuners are the weakest point of the guitar

Dang! That's very different from my experience. "Does it affect playability" is hilarious.
Preamp???
I did not get the preamp. Don't really feel the need, but I know it differs between each guitar.
