    what is a suspension token? Is it a preload thing? nice review. looking hard at buying a Turbo Levo Comp.

      @ebikesandthings  5 месяцев назад +2

      The token just reduces the air chamber so refuses how much air you can put in, you will definitely be happy with a Levo.

      I bought a turbo levo at the end of April. I had to wait for snow to melt to ride it. It had a couple glitches but they are working themselves out. In eco I can ride thousands of feet in elevation and get more than 6 hours on the battery.

    I own both, 23’ Levo Comp carbon and 21’ Trek Rail 9.7 carbon. I prefer the Levo myself. Rail a great backup bike however and nice to be back on full 29 st times. Personally, I think the Levo is mich more dialed and refined as a package. The frame has been solid for me, whereas front and resr triangle has been replaced by Trek along with three complete drive/motor units. Only one drive unit and battery warranty replacement with Levo after 1 heavy year of riding. Bosch is a bit more consistent in motor performance output over time however, compared to Brose. The RIB system is aweful and I would never own a RIB systemed bike again despite it’s battery removal convenience. I removed my battery all the time on Levo in just a minute, so no big deal

      Nice that Spesh has your back for any frame or motor issues as well under one roof at the authorized dealers/service centers, whereas Trek has to go to Bosch for any issues and wait on their response for anything

    2 servicing dealers in my town so it comes down to the rail and the levo. Mullet concerns me as I love my XC 29'er, although in the parking lot I didn't notice anything super negative with the 27.5 trailing. Not having a way to test them on a real trail near me is my hang up on spending $5-6k+. Appreciate your video and comparison!

    I would go with the Trek only because of the dealer network, think there would be less down time in the case of motor failure.

    Definitely the best playful e-bike on the market, but stock fox suspension really sucks. My fork bled every ride till I changed it to Zeb,
    and thinking of replacing the rear with Vivid air or coil, when the size is in stock. I've tried 29/29 wheels, they lose all playfully and feel exactly like a Rail, and the space between the frame and rear tire is super small, even with 2.4 tires, any rock easily can damage the frame in that case. so, after I broke that 29 rim on a trail, I've ordered 27.5 again and it feels perfect now.

    Great review although I disagree with you on carbon versus aluminum I'm a heavier Rider with power and I kept cracking aluminum frames by the bottom bracket and I had a bike shop tell me to go to carbon and that was 10 years ago and I haven't cracked a frame since

    I have gen 4 Trek rail 9.8 but upgraded. My friend has Turbo levo carbon frame with all the upgrades you can think of. You cant go wrong with either. I prefer rail more because of the looks, size and feel. But both bikes are incredible. Though i lean towards rail.
    For Bosch motor, i think its preference thing. That turbo power on bosch is love and life imo. But i agree bosch motor is a powerhouse and you feel it. But idk on my rail on eco mode it feels like normal bike. Also on bosch app you can i believe change settings however you like it.
    But as for suspension, i totally agree. The factory setup i got with rail had the superdeluxe select+ and i absolute despised that shock. I also have slash with ultimate thrushaft and its night and day. So i changed my rail shock to vivid air and its awesome.

      @@spawnrcandbikes Yeah, changed to manual bike yesterday. I tried my 2022 Trek slash 9.8 XT. Its top of the line bike. But it felt horrible to change from ebike. As if the breaks were on all the time. Felt like there was something wrong with the bike honestly. I think turbo mode changed my nervous system. CX line is a powerhouse.
