Last years team was built totally upon the Portal. Many teams use the Portal like Miami but also have great recruiting classes.
Mike Norvell probably feels pressure for a quick fix, but allow him time.
I never would have believed that a Florida State team would fail this way. When the Noles didn’t make the four-team playoff last year and all those players opted out of the bowl game against Georgia, that concerned me that they didn’t play for pride.
Do many players who come through the portal have the loyalty to the team to play through adversity? Did that failure to show up against Georgia carry over to this year’s team?

When you portal out of this world the past few years but then come back to reality like this, you got FSU. Honestly, credit to jordan travis, he hid a lot of their problems with his playmaking
Defense wins games, and FSU has not shown that it can stop the run. I don't see them beating Miami, Clemson or Notre Dame, so that is 5 losses in the "best case" scenario.
Georgia Tech lost to Syracuse and this make FSU look worse. GT couldn’t slow down Syracuse. So , who are the best ACC teams? California looked good. Wouldn’t it be wild if they won the league?
At Clemson we had Kelly Bryant who was about the same passer level a DJU. The difference was Kelly could run like a deer. DJ is a great kid , but he is hurting your team.
Everyone is laughing at norvell and the noles. Canes will hang a fifty burger on noles.
I can fix half the mess......get a different defensive coordinator. Fuller is terrible and has GOT TO GO!

Sure, DJ didn’t look good, but there were at least three perfect passes that were muffed by FSU receivers (two by the TE), including a couple that should have gone for nice gains.

What makes you think it will be turned around? FSU looked like doo doo against two mid ACC teams, what happens when they play Clemson and Miami?

This feels like karma for the shitty Attitude they had after the playoff committee put them at five. This is what happens when you play an easy schedule last year and then turn over all your starters no one can step up.
Florida IS a “fancy” public university. One of top 5 “fancy” public universities.

Mario has Miami ready to join Georgia & Alabama & Ohio state, but of all the big 3 fsu is in the most trouble florida is not in as bad shape as fsu for one they have a future star in Lagway at quarterback & their team isn't as bad as fsu & who does fsu have as their future quarterback yeah fsu is definitely in trouble they can try to fix it after this year but they need to recruit better the transfer portal can't sustain you

Listen man these are facts Norvell can't recruit you go 13-1 & you still can't recruit Mario still kicked your ass in recruiting you finished with the number 12 recruiting class while Mario & Miami finished with the number 3 recruiting class despite going only 7-6 to your 13-1 & you don't think that's a problem Mario has dominated Norvell & Billy Napier in recruiting & if you're a Seminole or a gator that's a serious problem you can play dumb!!!! all you want but college football is about recruiting & player development & if you can't do that which Norvell can't you're in trouble look at Georgia & Alabama they only use the transfer portal to fill a need if they have one but the majority of their team is recruiting & player development & those are Mario specials so it should come as no surprise that Miami is leaving fsu & florida behind did you see how dominate Miami was over florida & Mario & Napier started at the same time at Miami & florida Football is a business & if one guy knows how to run the business & another guy don't you saw it Miami has passed yall by when you take your emotions fan glasses off & look at it for what it is you can clearly see it it's the same thing I told the gator fans who were in denial until Miami went on the field & embarrassed them
