Where did you pick up power and earth for the camera from, was that included in the wire you ran to the front or did you take from the reversing lights?

I connected the ignition switch voltage to the fuse box. Grounding: from there at one of the screws that is in good contact with the body.
Didn't you get the power for the rear camera from the reversing light?

The routing of the cable is therefore simpler and does not require a filter, making the connection easier. (The reversing camera must be protected with suitable fuses and ignition switched voltage must be used)
Could you link the camera? Just I bought v7. Do you think there is any posibility to connect more than one cameras, for ex. reverse and front camera? Surely there is no chance for 360 cameras?
Can you tell me how the holder for the rear view camera in the trunk lid was built? Is there a link or instructions on how it was built

In my case, the factory holder held the opener with straps from the side. (This may differ) That's why I had to bend 2 pieces of iron and drill them through. The bent sheet supports the camera on the rear door frame at its two edges. And the camera is turned onto the metal plate with the 2 screws, so it clamps them together.
Hello, I installed the same camera as in the video. Unfortunately, I don't have a clear and consistent picture. How did you connect your camera? We had to lay an additional continuous power cable because the camera does not receive power when the engine is on, only when the ignition is on.

I used a 5-pin cable. GND- even good together. (camera, power) 12V ignition-switched voltage from the fuse panel (e.g. seat heating) Camera - camera signal (yellow wire) . The camera signal must be connected to the desired radio input. I made a modification to the cables coming out of the camera unit so that it can be disassembled.
Is this camera called fisheye or something like that. I have installed my camera on similar position on my passat but picture is not wide like this and i cant see bumper (my camera looks different)
Could make a video about installation of front camera?
Maybe later. I haven't felt the lack of a first camera yet.
Cool vidéo

Which cable do I have to use from the radio?

@ I will try this with a signal filter, maybe that will solve the problem
@@spedyhgwIs the reversing camera image set correctly on the display?
@ Yes, I tried everything until I found the right setting, but the picture still flickers when reversing
These guide lines are too down, making them unusable.
