    It seems like quite the adventure there! Definitely a big hike - and some great scenery there too. Looks like it was worth the effort to get to the top for those views.

    A great hike for sure. Starting off in the fields, then a slow climbing slope, that leads to a much steeper climb. That's a great way for hikes to break you in. What a colorful temple. The views from up top are amazing as well.

    Another wonderful trek from your side. The view is great once you reach at the top. I guess early morning is the best time.

    I like how colorful the Hindu temple is. This trek looks like a nice day out. The second part of the hike does look more challenging. The view from the top is worth it though. The landscape looks great.

    Man, everytime I see other places like this I realize just how boring the midwest here in the States is haha! Such cool views. We didn't get a chance to hike as much as we would'e liked this year. Maybe next. Thanks for sharing!

    What a beautiful view! I was wondering if it was hot out there as there wasn’t much tree cover but then you answered it. And good to know to avoid that trail if it rains.

    We are planning to go to Harihara betta. The Trek start location in the featured places does not show any pond nearby. Could you reply to this comment with the parking/trek start location. Thanks!

      There is pond near the village,Pond Pushkarini, from the pond you will be going to the village streets and then start the trek through the fields to the temple. After the temple the trek would a bit steep and then it's kind of ok till the top. Once you reach the pond, keep driving on the broken road till you get a place to park the car. There is no designated parking. We parked on the side of the road going to Sadguru's ashram ( Aadi purush). On reaching the pond,we asked the locals for way to the temple,they can guide you.

    What are the timings? Can ivisit it in the evening in time for sunset?

    • @traveladvisorak6065
      @traveladvisorak6065  7 месяцев назад +1

      There is no ticket here and no one checks either, you can visit in the evening but better avoid as it will become dark on the way back and it becomes a bit dangerous coming down.

      People used to camp and cook in the flat area near the top but I heard the forest department has stopped it now.
