Am I the only one who thinks Black Battler sounds like he's crying at the end?
Actually I think that B. Battler is trying to protect shannon from her self on this story.

It's kind of fitting, in a sad way.
True Battler's disownment of the Ushiromiya family and therefore, lack of visitation for six years which helped him forget his promise to "Shannon" was one of the reasons the murders occured. (not the prime reason, sure, but it was a reason.) So, in a sense: "Battler is the culprit because he crushed Shannon's heart." applies really well here.

I was just thinking that Black Battler, being a black delusion of "If Battler was the Culprit", still had to go by the games rules that "pieces can only ever act in character". Combined with how Battler is a nice guy, him being forced into the Killer role would probably only be possible in circumstances where he was forced into it. I imagine it could break him.
Hence how Black Battler sounds like he's crying or emotionless. Like Beatrice, he doesn't enjoy playing the role of "the one who kills everyone". But at the same time he seems to play it up and make it a performance for people with the most gruesome actions and whatnot, since "he was forced into the role by people who want to see him as the culprit". It could also be seen as a coping mechanism for being forced into the role.
It's alot like Bernkastel said in either the second, third or fourth game. "You wanted to see something gruesome, that's why you read this far, right?". Black Battler is doing the same thing to the audience.

It's interesting how Beatrice is never fought in this story.
Beatrice has confirmed that Battler is never the culprit in any of the stories. There was a story about the possibility of Battler being the culprit as an extra around episode 2 or 3.
It is fun to speculate what this story could mean once you get past episode 7.
Beatrice does not need to exist since the killer is just straight up committing the crimes with Battler. There is no mystery or story, just murder. The mysteries exist for the sake of Battler or to be caught by someone in time. Here there are no survivors.

There's none, this is a Logic Error fragment that Ryuukishi dropped (it was supposed to be ep2 or ep3... not sure wich one), where Battler was supposed to end up forcing his own piece to act as the killer in order to believe in everyone else.
B. Battler & Kannon's Story have some hints of this fragment also.
If we force enough the Magic and Witch Game out of the Fragment it can be seem as a fragment where Battler helps Yasu out of guilty towards then. So when they talk about "you want to blame me" / "you killed everyone" / etc. they are actually talking about Battler's Sin and how it was the reason for Yasu to make this overcomplicated suicide killing everyone else in the process.
Shannon so thirsty and submissive in this fragment.
