Hello Eric, I know you probably won't get to read this, but I want to thank you none the less. I have not visited your channel for a while, the reason being a lack of time. Your videos made me realize that the live I have been living has been mediocre and unhealthy. I was busy changing it for the last two years and am happy to report that it changed for the better.
I now have a demanding job at a great company, a wonderful girlfriend I intend to marry next fall and managed to get in shape too. All thanks to your videos fueling my willpower. You have a way of talking that makes me feel like your message is meant for me alone, which I know is not the case, but is inspiring nonetheless.
So what do I want to tell you? To wrap it up: keep doing what you do best. Helping people to pull through the hardest times of their lives.

its first et video i think is not motivational. its just telling that if u have a false start u are gone , u dont get another chance. idk , maybe i am wrong but et himself said life gives u another chance everytime u fail so that u can correct urself , you can work better and write an inspirational story.
Agreed. Maybe it was more about the fact that if you don't grind, work hard then your start will be false? But then again everybody had one of those as well and the solution is not giving up because you won't get another chance. So I agree, I felt like this video is countering a lot of stuff he said before.
Here's what I got from it. During the training and conditioning phase you can have another chance, make mistakes, and get those mistakes out of the way.
But at the top level, you only get one "false start" because the chances are slimmer up there, and at that level one shouldn't be making those rookie mistakes.
I relate it to myself this way. I'm a new screen printer and I'm mostly selling to friends and family (for a good price). I'm making rookie mistakes, learning from them, and my quality of work is quickly rising.
I know there are BIG government contracts out there worth thousands and thousands of dollars for screen printing shirts. If I got one of those government orders for a lot money, and I screwed up bad, best believe it would be quite some time before I got another one of those orders (if I ever got one at all).
So while some of these athletes might not get another chance these Olympics, they have another shot in four years.
When one is world class at whatever, rookie mistakes shouldn't be there.. Because the next big opportunity might not be for a while.
Again, this is my interpretation of ET's video and how I relate to it.
