I embrace more of Kyoto, Japan, where I eat a traditional Japanese kaiseki breakfast at a ryokan (traditional Japanese inn), tour Nijo Castle (home of the first shogun during the Edo period), experience fire ramen at Menbaka, view all of Kyoto at sunset from Kiyomizu-dera Buddhist temple, and stay the night in Gion at a machiya (a traditional Japanese house).
