James Spader is one of the best actors. The way he delivers a line, his facial expressions and his physical movements are so good. My husband agrees. We are both blown away by his acting.
Two movies to rent when he was a relatively ‘unknown’ actor: WOLF with Jack Nicholson and Michelle Pfeiffer, and BABY BOOM with Diane Keaton and Sam Shepard. In both movies James played sleazy so brilliantly. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
First 4 seasons were amazing and now its just cringe show shit shitty writing, making up episodes one after the other with no vision for story. It all became completely ridiculus.

He deserves all the awards for the Blacklist. One of the best shows on television, in my opinion. The ending blew me away. It was inevitable, and once I could process it, I knew it was such a Red move. Brilliant show. ❤
+1 here, that was a real ending as Red would have like it. No one could stop him but himself and that is what he eventually chose to do. In a second he decided, that it was a good way to end it all, and he just let it happen. Thanks to Mr James Spader for being so damn good at being Raymond Reddington all of these years. Thank you for giving the character life! I could not imagine anyone doing a better job than he did, it was a pleasure and on so many ocassions, a lesson to watch him and this series all from season 1!
The last few episodes of season 9 were especially good. It feels like the writers have finally equaled the quality of the first 8 seasons. I still miss the incredible music that added to the emotion and drama. That was a big part of what made the show standout.

He was born to play Raymond Reddington. Such a menacing performance but makes you cheer at the same time.
