I trace art, but I don’t post it anywhere. I trace it to get a feel of anatomy. I don’t plan on posting it. I trace to learn, basically. I think that’s okay. I’m just learning, I’m not benefitting any other way besides educationally. I don’t like people who have the potential to learn crucial art skills, but they trace AND post it on their own accounts without crediting. If I did trace and post, I would ask the person who’s photo I’m tracing if it’s okay if I trace, and then give credit. I’m not about to steal somebody’s art work. Smh

Why is almost every deviantart tracer have an oc of a cat or a feline? Even if they dont have a feline oc, they usally have a image of their oc reincarnated to be a cat.....how original....

When I was in primary school I traced disney princess on my coloring book, and submit my traced art to my teacher. I do it a lot, but when my papa told me, you'll never learn to draw if you traced. So yeah I learn to draw without tracing. And I think I progress a lot.
