    My grandma fell for one of these… had a printer stop working. Thats why I bought an Epson Ecotank for $200 you can buy the printer. The refills you can pay about $60 for half liter bottles that will last most people many years instead of a month or two if you are lucky. The printer also does a pretty fair job of printing photos just as cheap or cheaper as you would at walmart or target

    • @i2evielle
      @i2evielle Год назад +2

      @@theborg2638 While I know you were joking but sadly there are a lot of people that actually do this. I used to work retail and sold printers all the time and we would have people come in to buy ink, see the stupid amount they were charging for it, and proceed to buy a new printer and use the ink that came with it instead of buying ink for their current printer. The only issue with that is that the ink carts that the printers come usually only has around 10% volume of the actual carts. Would try to tell people this and they would still just buy a new printer anyways instead of buying a remanufactured cart or in some cases getting theirs refilled.

    Please note that many legitimate US companies are now outsourcing their entire tech and customer support to India or elsewhere outside the US. This makes it hard to detect if the support you get is valid or not strictly by accents. For example, in the last 2 weeks alone, I talked to India when getting (I'm very sure!) valid support from Spectrum (cable TV/Internet/phone), Bilt-Hard Log splitter (sold on Amazon), and a US-based ISP, Go-Daddy. I suspect (but can't prove) that some tech support companies play both sides of the fence. The money is green either way, so why not?

To these days I still get a lot of spam call lol I already know that my info has been leaked over the dark web anyway. But I’m doing my best not to open or response to any of it.

    The furthest trolling I've gone with a scammer is he was impersonating my friend asking for venmo 100 dollars for "groceries" and when I said I didn't have venmo (i already knew this was a scam from the start) he asked me to go to Walmart and get gift cards. What a coincidence, I was actually going to Walmart. So I told him I'm at Walmart and he said to get the gift cards (I didn't) but whenever he would be slightly rude I'd be like "ok fine then if your gonna be that way I'm not gonna get the giftcards." And he would freak out. Eventually I found a picture of a random giftcard code online and sent that to him them confronted him and started saying really random stuff like "send feet pics" and stuff lol

      There are scammers right here in the comments of this video and his other videos pretending to be him and telling people to contact him on telegram. There is another who if someone leaves a comment saying they or a family member was scammed tells them to contact some guy on instagram because he can help get their money back. They’re called “recovery scammers” and it’s complete bullsh**. Knowledge is power in these situations.

    You can use a VM to let scammers to remote the pc in the VM. So all they do it mess up the pc in the VM. That’s what lots of people do so the scammer won’t harm your pc.

      @@rainbowmom7582 That comment was meant for pleasant green. Because he said he wasn’t going let people on his pc. I was letting him know about VMs so he knows he can learn about them, and use them to help stop scammers safely. I did say YOU can use a VM. I didn’t say victims can. That sentence should’ve indicated I was talking about Pleasant Green using them. That’s why I said that. I know victims wouldn’t most likely use them.

    PSA: sometimes doing an oil change can in fact show that you do truly need a new engine! if you dont change your oil in a long while and dont check it, the level can get veeeeeeeeeeery low, leading to engine bearing failure! the bearings will start to come apart and leave metallic particles (or chunks) in the oil! If youre REALLY lucky you can replace the bearings but usually by that point the engine itself is cooked. so if you take your car to a mechanic to replace the oil, and he finds metal in the oil, he will tell you you need a new engine and it indeed is not a scam. However always ask to check the oil yourself if a mechanic tells you to replace your engine due to metal in the oil!
