Hi, I am a new subscriber. I am 74 years and I wish I could reach through this screen and give your a big gentle hug. One of my daughters passed away in December. Not from natural causes. She lived next door to me. Just looking at her old place coming down (she lived in a double wide trailer) makes me miss her more and more every day. I cannot move because I am old and I have lived on this land for almost 50 years now. I believe the choice you and your sisters have made is the right choice. I do think that maybe if you got a lawyer you may win your case but would you win happiness? Probably not. Your aunt would always be there and sounds like she would make your lives miserable. You are making a NEW start. This will help in your grieving process. You and your sisters will grow closer. You will start this new way of life together. You will be happy. God will watch over you. Not only God but your dad will too. And when your Grandmother passes, you will see many signs that will show you that she is watching over you too. I pray from my heart that all will be well with you, I am sure it will. Hugs and blessings to you

Sweetheart you don’t need to justify yourself to anyone. My husband and myself most recently went through the same thing with his family and it was extremely hurtful and heartbreaking but as you say God sees all. Your family is what makes your home.

Hi I have found in my life during the hard times to praise and thank the Lord for victory before I even see how it is going to unfold. God inhabitants the praises of His people, and where the Spirit of the Lord is no evil can abound. This is good because when we are faced with a trial the devil is always in the back corner of our mind trying to feed us with negative thoughts, he is not a creator yet he knows if we will believe his lies it WILL weaken our faith for a good out come. Also another powerful weapon is, when we have ugly thoughts about people (even if they are fact) to pray for the people every time those thoughts come , when you do that the thoughts will stop .... But I KNOW from previous moves that 3 other places really came to feel like "home" ( with new friends and all). The one STEADY in all of it? JESUS. Yes friend. You will be alright.

I recently walked away from a situation where I could have fought and got a lot of money, but I wanted no part of that stress. I put my faith in my Lord. I know God will bless you with something in the end that is best for you.

I’m a new subscriber and as someone who does advanced life planning, PLEASE, have something in writing with your sisters as well, including care for your children should something happen to you. I too live in Texas and the way laws are being twisted and over turned, do it now. There are websites that are free. Your welcome to reach out to me it’s no problem, I love helping young folks especially. I’ve seen so much ugly of this type over the years including my own family.

Grace you need to contact an estate attorney . You need to protect your self you aunt your aunt can sue you for any reason she wants to protect yourself, sweetheart. I’ve been in the same situation as you are and it’s not good.
The grandmother is not obligated to include grandchildren in her will. The aunt and any other children of the grandmother are the legal and rightful heirs to any property.
My first video would probably give a better picture of what's going on. I'm not trying to force my grandmother to give me anything, but my father was included in her will.
She had the right to change her will after he died. Whether she was of sound mind when she did so is the question. Since you are married with children it does seem that you are making a good decision to move on.

Grace you need to contact an estate attorney . You need to protect your self you aunt your aunt can sue you for any reason she wants to protect yourself, sweetheart. I’ve been in the same situation as you are and it’s not good.
The grandmother is not obligated to include grandchildren in her will. The aunt and any other children of the grandmother are the legal and rightful heirs to any property.
My first video would probably give a better picture of what's going on. I'm not trying to force my grandmother to give me anything, but my father was included in her will.
She had the right to change her will after he died. Whether she was of sound mind when she did so is the question. Since you are married with children it does seem that you are making a good decision to move on.

It's your family and your choice. Even if you sued your Aunt and had your grandmother declared unfit, it would cause so much friction within the family. Sometimes walking away is the best solution, you have your sisters as your support and that is what matters.
