    I have never found a therapist yet who understands Narcissism so they were all unable to help me. They evidently are not educating therapists on narcissism. I have done a lot of searching for therapists in my state who are educated on narcissism and none of them are. Because they're not aware of what narcissism is or what it is like to be a victim of a narcissist, they cannot understand what I went through, what I'm still going through as I try to make sense of everything that happened, and they are not helpful. They tend to minimize everything because they don't understand what a different situation a relationship with a narcissist is and that it is not like other relationships. They don't understand the punch it packs in your life. The only therapists I've found that are educated and knowledgeable about narcissism is on youtube so I've been watching every narcissist youtube video I can find. Your channel is wonderful.

      Also a lot of them are narcissist themselves and aren’t ready to tackle the narcissist in their own lives.

      I find this to be the case as well. Awareness is starting to spread but it is still very slow. I know that Dr. Ramani is working with therapists by training them in this work but much more needs to be done, and not only educating therapists but also lawyers, doctors and law enforcement. Lot's to do!

    Good to see you! Thank you for sharing a part of your journey. It took way too long for me to realize that my father and older sibling were narcissist. I finally awakened to that fact. I've learned alot from you and your experiences. My father passed New Years Day 2021..I was still hoping for some sign of love from him..but he passed .. and chose not to acknowledge any love towards me. I accept that. I chose also to go no contact with my sibling because the degrading narcissistic behavior from her became so so very clear. I haven't spoken to her in 3 years now. I spent way to many years of my life trying to please everyone and never learned to love myself. So now, I am free of their brainwashing and am doing so much better now. I have learned alot from you and am so very grateful! Thank you! I hope we see more of you! You are inspiring!! 💕 Take much care!

    I believe narcissist have carved out such a huge part of society and has been championed to the point where calling it out is only helpful in small pockets of society. I think a lot of civilization was built on the romanticism of narcissist such as government/ politics, military/police, war, lawyers, etc… When I really analyze and look at the origin of a lot of things narcissism and personality disorders are at the root/core of it.

      Have a look at the book "Culture of Narcissism" by Christopher Lasch. If you want an even deeper dive, check out Julian Jaynes' "Origin of Consciousness in the Break Down of the Bicameral Mind" and also the work of Erich Fromm. These will help put things into perspective. Cheers!

    Thank you for this 'down to the bone' conversation. The point at 11:05 where you talked about having an inner knowledge/thought that the current relationship would heal and lead to greater understanding of a past relationship stuck with me. I remember having a feeling and actually telling a friend that I wasn't sure where the relationship was going or what I was doing. wow. I had no idea that I was in for. thank you for your work.

      You're so welcome, Lola. Yes, I discovered an inner drive to want to resolve my past relational conflicts with similar characters through this one. I think it stems from the desire to heal past wound(s) caused by the shock of rejection or betrayal to "prove" to myself that all is well and I can be loved. The fact is that this is something that must be resolved internally and with the help of healthy, trustworthy people and/or a healthy therapist, never by a single individual who hovers over our head the "promise" (stated or implied) of complete healing by surrendering to his her will. It was quite the knot to untangle!

    I heard that declaration too, she used to say: - you are my soul, you are my true soulmate;
    But she suddelny "innocently" asked, like a dagger in your back: - are you from the Devil or are you from God???
    I thought and felt: what's going on!?, after I opened myself in honesty, gave my entire heart, devoted to her with numberless actions and sacrificies, still she dares to doubt and yell such a blasfemy?
    This is a little example of many manipulations and who is white and center of the Universe and who is black and meaningless - for a she-narcisist.
    God protect us and no more!

      Yes, there’s also eerie similarity between how narcissists and cults operate. I recommend the channel by Dr. Steven Hassan.

    Thank-you Ewa! And thank-you for your courage. I’ve listened/watched you since yhe beginning. My journey of self awareness and narc abuse began about half a year before your first video so I feel as though you’ve been, and continue to be, my guide and light. I’ve shared your teachings and videos with others and even with my therapist who was a little knowledgable of the subject but has wanted to learn with me. She’s also been my light. I am blessed that after 23 years of being in a narc relationship and enduring emotional and physical abuse and pain that I found the tools to help me live my life with purpose. Hearing your story, especially how you are able to express it clearly and with grace, makes me realize how important all of our stories are. I am so grateful for the time and energy you put in to giving hope and knowledge for those in dark places. You are an essential part of my own process and journey. Thank-you for helping me heal! 🫶🏻🌺♾️
