    I came across your channel a couple weeks ago, and i have watched every episode of this build in those couple of weeks. Absolutely brilliant how ur learning, building and showing your mistakes you could easily edit out. This build has been awesome. I see i have some catching up to do from the last 2 years XD. Nice job man, i think im buying an old gs500.

    I am utterly stoked for you Euan, you must be chuffed to bits. I have enjoyed every single video of the progression of this bike and although I knew it was going to look incredible, I didn't quite realise how fantastic the end result would be. Give yourself a huge pat on the back mate, well done.
    The fact that you did all this, not just in a tiny shed, but having to learn how to do each part as you went, and then to do so at such a high standard, proper pukka hats off to you.
    I can't wait to see it on the road, I do hope you plan on showing the bike at some rallies etc if they go ahead?

    Euan I'm about lost for words. For real I can't believe the work that you've produced by your own hands. It's inspiring, to roll the dice and try something new. You've literally produced art, as well as a beauty of a bike, that sounds brilliant too.
    The colours are amazing, the seat is brilliant, the name is also braw. Congratulations on completing your build, I pray that you intend to strap a GoPro on for the shake down to get your reactions.
    I'm sad that this build has come to an end as I enjoyed the videos and learned a lot from them, though I'm already excited about your future.

    Absolutely gorgeous Euan. I'm still insanely bloody impressed with that seat, because it's something I honestly don't think a lot of us could learn, you learned it and made it look tasty! The whole build is class tho congrats. I agree, I'd be disappointed if I didn't walk away from something and not see ways I can improve, I'll be ok with it when I'm about 80. I look forward to seeing it out on the road :)

    Hi just re-watching as I am rebuilding a GS500 that I got for a low price as the previous owner had butchered every bolt and fixing. I have removed all of the broken studs and staring the long process of cleaning and painting. quick question did you blank off the 2nd Air pipes that come out of the front of the engine and if so is there anything else that you need to do in order for the bike to run smoothly. :)

    • @ShooglyShedMotors
      @ShooglyShedMotors  2 года назад +1

      My engine was from a previous model which didn't have the ports on the engine you mention. I have however heard of people creating blanket plates for them on the newer models!

      @@ShooglyShedMotors nice, do you still have it? I want to make a scrambler with my 93 gs 500, any suggestions on what I should do, are the front forks the same on a 93 and 99? I'm worried it won't be able to handle the pot holes that come with off road as there isn't much suspension travel. Does yours bottom out alot?
