Great docu of an amazing singer. Discovered Robby back in the 90's thanks to the Japanese rock scene which I have been following since my youth. Robby has a big following in Japan and has had major hits in that country. You must check out his new album just released Embrace the Unknown which is simply spectacular.

Gosh, what a great video you made. And soooo happy that people are still discovering this music genius! And, yes, he sure doens't have the recognition his music deserves. And even though I have listened to his music again and again, I'm still amazed by his talent, the lyrics, the melodies and his way of seeing the world. Nevertheless, out of nowhere, there you are, listening to an ode song to the Magnum ice creams. Crazy stuff. But If you listen carefully, it is self explaining. Really heavy stuff. Saw hiw twice live and going to see him again in february because, as you said it, those songs are to be experienced live. I wish you can live this too one day, because it is damn worth it. Certainly looking forward to your next video about him. Thanks again for this one.
Great documentary, I really enjoyed watching it. I am a huge Robby Valentine "fan", "follower", what ever you want to call it. The documentary is factual, but I like the personal notes you give on certain issues. I myself find that Valentine's music has matured as life itself matures, but he always stood near to his base and his base influences. Every time I listen to his music it lifts me up in some sort of way. Today I received the new album "Embrace the Unknown". I played it for two times now...and guess what, I liked it (that's an understatement). 🙂I am really curious about your opinion, after you got the opportunity listening it. Keep on rockin' and today you gained one subscriber.

id love to go myself but im in between jobs atm I'm hoping to have parts 2 and 3 completed by September as far as his partnerships with other artists and his queen tribute albums etc i might save those for a separate video ther is so much to cover already but well see i do wana get this right and not rush myself
