Hello world & welcome to The Doll Symposium, this is my new show that replaced 3 Minute Thursdays. TDS will be a show about not only the news but also my opinions/speculations on each topic, as well as a brand new segment that features viewers like yourself to be able to participate in the show. I hope you all enjoy this new format as much as I love to do it for you.

Yea it is a sad week for sure.
Just forget about all those mean people, Shizu. People that is trying to hurt others with their opinions (right or not) are just toxicity that is not worth the effort and time (and this applies for all the fandoms and communities). This hobby is for fun and joy. Just take into account the comunity opinions that really help you to learn more of the dolls and to promote union among all of us. Anyway, ty for all the news as always! It helps a lot!
Thanks Jafred, I guess I just see us as one big doll family, and while siblings in a family argue with each other, I’d like to believe we are stronger together than apart. And while it’s impossible for everyone to be pleased by everyone, I’d like to believe we can come to an understanding and move forward into the Dolly future together. I thank you for your kind words, and I will keep doing what I’m doing for the family.

Welcome Back. Ah everyone needs space for to rest. If over do it will burn out mentally and physically. I suggest you should have time to rest and relax, don't stress yourself out. You can upload your video and live chat video once a month for updates. Ah no worries I will wait for your next video no matter how long it takes. As long as you keep positive thoughts and feelings about how bad things or vibe. I have burned out before and I will cheer you up🌷🍀🌈

It's not about the doll community in my opinion it's Danny's lack of accountability whether or not you think the uniform is antisemitic or not it was his treatment of actual Jewish people expressing their opinion and discomfort that was so immature and upsetting he blocked people bringing up concerns and if he had just apologized and not made up excuses and taken it down people would have been ok with it
I have seen some individuals stating that they have been banned for speaking up about this incident. However, because I’m not Danny nor do I have access to how he thinks or his social media accounts. I have no idea if he retaliated by banning people, like there isn’t a way for me to confirm that. That being said, I will definitely take your word for it, and the word of others that has stated so, that they really did get banned. And while many people will agree or disagree about how he handled the situation. The truth of the matter is, what’s done is done, the incident happened, he made a public apology and he moved on. Now I believe that we as a community, it’s in our hands to figure out how we will handle it. Many has shared their opinions and feelings regarding this already, so what do we do next? Do we keep verbally assaulting each other till one of the sides conceded to the other? Or do we as a community try to show understanding and empathy to each other and try to move forward with an eye towards a stronger community, one that can have healthy discussions. Where all people, of all walks of life, can share our love for these beautiful dolls. We may disagree about many things, but I want to believe that the power to move forward lies within the doll community.
I want to thank you for posting your opinion here, I really do. Speaking up is not easy and I hope we can move forward together.
You spoke so kindly and eloquently about this. It was very hard for me. I have a background in art history and the like. I knew the background of the red arm band but also saw what my jewish friends saw. However, how the community is handling it between friends is saddening. I have made sure everyone knows that whatever your feelings, as long as we are being empathetic to one another I hold no I'll will towards anyone. I'm not buying anymore Smartdoll, but I wasn't before this anyhow, and that was because Krum is kinda my only girl lol and I've just transitioned to smaller dolls like Azone. When people questioned me about my feelings I tried to keep it "professional" in the same way I'd treat a colleague with a differing paper. But I feel sad that I have lost some friends because I similarly expressed in a professional manner about the insentivities that were unintentional in the image. I also knew the anime and red arm band background, and I did express that I think danny should explain the cultural difference in the original post (this was before he did his apology and did) I was trying to treat it from a designer and art historian professional aspect. I'm sad to see though that despite this Danny has stopped following me, which hurts the most. But I'm trying not to take it too personally.
Also I hope you know how you spoke about this just makes me love your channel even more.
It is unfortunate that this incident has happened, hindsight is always 20/20. I can’t speak for Danny and his actions, but it happened and the result of it has affected many. Like I said in the video I can definitely see and understand both sides of the argument. And even though this all stemmed from the posting, what we, as a community, do with it is in our hands. I just hope we can all get through this with an eye towards understanding and empathy.
Honestly, I didn’t actually intend to say as much as I did. I had planned to make a very small statement, but you know me, my rambling just took over and what was suppose to be a 3 minute statement became over 45 minutes. Thank you for the kind words.

Personally I think topics like war or millitary doesn´t fit dolls in ANY way! Same goes for religin or politics. We all know these topics will start arguments. I wasn´t offenden by this. I found out about it on Insta. However I don´t support Danny. Blocking people for really unnecessary reasons is just a clown act to me. He should have just removed the post and apologize instead of blocking people who tried to explain to him how it´s not okay. Even when he doesn´t see anything wrong with it symbols and words change over the time. Like the symbol that was used in WW2. It was a buddhist symbol at first but if you ask people now what it means they most likely say it´s a nazi symbol. Same goes for words. Same goes for dolls. Dolls were supposed to be only for girls (to learn how to take care of themselves and grom themselvs to attract a future husband back in the 60´s)but over time it became okay if boys also played and collected dolls.
I cannot speak for Danny or his actions, if you find what he did wrong or offensive is up to you. Your are definitely entitled to your own opinions and I respect them. And although you are correct that perhaps dolls are more “traditionally” known as “girls toys”. It isn’t or wasn’t always the case. Dolls have been throughout history used for religious rituals, education, and toys. They weren’t always for girls. The earliest dolls by the Greeks and Roman’s were for both genders. Even dolls in the 50’s to today aren’t just got girls. The first G.I. Joes for boys were in fact dolls. You could change their clothes and everything. It’s always been ok for boys to have and play with dolls in many cultures and throughout history. Star Trek had dolls for boys like the Mego Toys. I think it’s unfair to say that now boys collect dolls and play with them. Sports like baseball were primary a boys pastime and now girls play sports too and professionally. Girls can and should do anything they want, so why can’t boys? Just because it was once believed something was “gender locked” isn’t the way things work today. Anybody can do and should do anything they want regardless of gender and that’s an amazingly great thing.
Your comment also about “symbols and words change over time” that is 100% true. The Buddhist symbol you mentioned, whether it’s facing clockwise or counterclockwise were religious symbols of peace but certain groups used it for evil. The meaning of it changed during those times but it doesn’t mean it stays that way. People can educate each other of its original meaning and bring its roots back to life. Words and symbols change over time like you said, but they can’t change unless people want it to change. Let’s not forget many many cultures used it for good. It’s not those cultures fault that a certain group misused those symbols. The devil is usually depicted with a. Pitchfork but it was originally a symbol of a Poseidon, but because it was used in popular depictions of the devil, will it always be seen as evil now? I think we should all learn more about history and culture of everyone or at least be more mindful of it. Because what is deemed “normal” or “evil” in one culture is not true for everyone else. Especially nowadays were the internet and social media has so easily made the world smaller when it comes to reaching out to pretty much anyone in the world.
Im not saying your right nor am I saying your wrong. Im just stating the world is bigger than where you or I come from. Regardless of what Danny does or says, it’s us here in the doll community that can support each other or tear each other down. I choose to learn, understand and empathize with my fellow doll family members. I respect all of your opinions and if you choose to think one way or the other that’s fine, I just ask that we all try to have healthy conversations about it, like you and I.
