sonai bhattacharya Unfortunately, that was the way thing worked then. Oh, I do not think all men were that way. But Thomas Boelyn was seen as ambitious. He normally would not have been considered for his wife Elizabeth, except that the Duke had fought on the wrong side (Elizabeth was the 3rd Duke's sister).

@zarathings I always felt the kind of person Anne was she deserved a happy and simple ,all this desire of becoming a queen was injected by her father in her mind
She was an exception in her time she had her own mind which attracted Henry towards her and after marriage it really irritated him.
She deserved a much happier and peaceful life.

Intelligence, wit, and a sharp tongue were seen as desirable and acceptable in a mistress in that time, as acceptable as it could be in a woman anyway, but not in a wife. Wives were supposed to be subservient and meek, surrendering all to their husbands. He was attracted to Anne because of these traits, but she did not surrender them as their marriage progressed, which is partially why he tired of her.

i finally realize her father was using her all the way when i started to review the parts in the tudors quickly, all i want to say is: what a power hungry man! everything he ordered his children to do was only for his rise! and then we they all dead, he threw his own blood away like trash! it was his own fault if he had fallen out of favor!! anne should instead marry to henry percy and she would probably have a peaceful life till the end

Hard to say. Percy died young, the same year Anne was beheaded. So it’s possible they may have had a short happy married life and then she’d either remain a wealthy widow or more likely would have been expected to marry again.
