This is my favorite Aurora live performance, it's so energetic and just an excellent vibe
Probably one of her best and most animated performances. She explodes on the outro and wins you over with her energy. Even the crowd isn't sure its over until she prompts them. Excellent choice today!

She didn’t know she was performing for two fans until she arrived the location, and her fans didn’t know about it either.
It wasn’t her regular band, so they had one hour to rehearse before singing it live.
It’s a stripped down intimate version, and Aurora said it was hard not to cry in the end❤️

3 months after this performance in Feb 2019 she was on a US tour and visited KEXP in Seattle and played 4 songs (without audience) and Cheryl Waters from KEXP interviewed her, and that performance is also on youtube.
Aurora explained about the energy she taps into when performing, and how she has developed over the years. She is actually an introvert from the beginning, that did not want to become a singer, she just wanted to write songs for herself and maybe for other artists, but her mother convinced her to share her voice and her music with the world. The first 2 years in 2014 and 2015 she was very nervous and did not enjoy performing, here is the full quote:

"I think it took me about 2 years to enjoy being on stage, the first 2 years of doing quite big festivals and a lot of touring, I didn't even like it, cause it is not a natural thing for me to... I dunno, the attention thing is very strange.
But it has evolved a lot, I don't think I opened my eyes one time the first year, and I usually stood in one place, and I moved my hands a lot quite frantically, because I have so much energy when I sing, and I can feel like, you know. It comes from like a different place, like from the place of music, if it's....you know, this divine place. I get like, I get too much energy for my tiny human shape. I didn't really know what to do with it, so it kind of made me almost shake.
But NOW I know where to put it: Out... you know, to the people in the crowd, and my eyes are open and my hands are open, and it feels very good so it has evolved a lot."
I was hooked when I watched her years ago on Fallon performing Conqueror. Someone who is completely awesome and we should all support her.
Saw her live in Washington DC this year. What a treat! Unlimited energy. She went crazy with "Running With the Wolves". I'm older than dirt and hope I'll be around for another US tour. I will not miss it!

Alright, cool :) Given enough time, Aurora can melt even the hardest of hearts ❤ because, you know, we're all soft inside, he he. No but really, she has a way of penetrating our defenses and reaching in. The less you fight it, the better it will be :) Where is she from? Norway, but we like to say she's from the Queendom of Aurora, which if you want to know what is like, you can find out by checking out her song Queendom (like this live performance; ruclips.net/video/uM8Wqfv5Jw8/видео.html) or the music video too as it's pretty good. In this song btw, she does a vocalizing/chant that she kept in her head since she was 6 years old and finally used it in this song when she wrote it.
She is what happens when you foster a child's inner drummer and they grow up free!

But even at low res, a few swipes over the audience show what a huge crowd that was. Just because you guys wondered.

… I listen to this just to hear if you manage to listen to Aurora ( or a female musician) without coment on outlook ( last time you compared outlook on Bjørk) please just exercise to manage to listen to the music. It should be the end of objectifying women. Use your upper head, please 🙏.
