He even allowed his dog to have blood drawn to save another dog with a blood transfusion. They needed a large dog fast and he was the first one they called and he never hesitated for even one second.
As a rabbit owner Cookie had me in tears, they are nervous animals and it takes a lot of time and patience to form a bond but once they do they are the most loyal and affectionate creatures you could imagine. Ive had my 2 mini lops for 2 years now and i just couldnt imagine life without them, theyre cute, so sweet natured but also they have so much personality and can be temperamental and very fiesty at times. Mine are strictly indoor free roam rabbits as i live in the UK's most highly populated Fox town but theyre happy, healthy and just the sweetest little creatures.
Yes! I've had all sorts of pets, but rabbits are hands-down my favourite. They have everything I want in a pet: sass, affection, ease in feeding and care, and surprising intelligence.

This is how my family dog Rocko died after getting into the pantry an ate 13 bars of chocolate coated fudge bars, ironically called "Death by Chocolate" bars. My grandma was home but asleep when it happened and Rocko made sure to be sneaky by takeing them into the backyard. We didn't know he ate them till we found him haveing a seizure. By time we found a vet open at 2AM he was pretty much gone. Allways knew chocolate was toxic to dogs but never knew the full existent of how serious it was.

Rest in peace Cookie. His offspring are very cute. The ducklings are very cute. Sad, that their mom left them on the fwy. Glad that Dr. Lisa was there when they got released. Happy Easter Bondi Vet and everyone!
What makes this show so special is meeting the family and staff at the clinic. We now know Zoe and the kids and the nurses and the manager. It is like being a part of this family and it also shows how hard Scottie and his team work. Great in Australia as well. A very friendly and informative show.....Thank you
Remember for easter do not give bunnies, ducklings, chicks as presents for easter to children these animals need exotic vets and live for awhile. And do not color your animals with dangerous dye.
I wish people would STOP giving these baby animals for Easter. They take a long term commitment. Most people dump them only a couple of weeks after Easter. Most ducklings and chicks die because people dont know how to care for them
As a rabbit breeder, I'd like to extend this reminder to not selling to anyone who is planning to give a pet as a holiday gift. And always ask the customer their plans when holidays are close.
Poor Dash I am allergic to caffeine so I know what a too fast heartbeat feels like. I'm glad he recovered well. It's sad about Cookie the rabbit, he didn't get a chance at a good life, anesthesia is awful on humans I can't imagine a little creature. Scott and Nathan were pretty broken up about it but there was a happy ending when the ducks were released back to the wild. 🙂❤️

Not allergic, but caffeine gives me horrible migraines. I can't drink green tea, either! Cookie was very sad, but also makes me feel a bit better about my decision not to neuter my own rabbit so many years ago.
Happy Easter to Bondi Vet💚🐣🐤💛🌞. This episode was full of differed emotions💞. Thank you, Doctors, nursers❣And others peoples, whom helps to saves tinys duck babies💝.
My hamster was on the critical care food until she died. She was on it for three months. Her old age was affecting her intestines and slowed their progress. Similarly to this bunny, minus the parasite. Her guts not moving created gas buildup in her system. The critical care food boosted her system and fixed her up. She was on it til she died just because it would probably have returned if not for the food. That shit's a life saver.
If the lady was isolating the chicken as she said she was in fear it could be contagious she shouldn't have brought in all the other chickens to the vet and handle the others after she pet the sick one without washing her hands that's how you end up making all the chickens sick
The story with little cookie broke my heart, at least he had a good life while he was there. And he left a precious legacy as a thanks. Honestly, 9 surprise babies and they're still all healthy just shows the animals are well cared for. Pregnant animals can require alot of care and it is possible it took a bit to notice the mom was even pregnant, since this was certainly unplanned.
I was waiting to see these little rainbow chicks again… but my gosh poor Dash, dogs can be very smart and naughty and get onto tables… this is why you should have all chocolate up in a super high cabinet that pets cant get too… though, personally i dont think Paul and his wife(?) should have Velma, as pet bunnies should NEVER live outside, rabbits for 1 can NOT regulate their body temperature, they are bottom of the food chain, and get easily stressed, and they are prone to having heart attacks meaning death, they are very venerable, and they CANT get wet because they again CAN NOT regulate their body temperatures.
You must have missed the part where he explained she just appeared in their backyard. Sounds like she's just a wild rabbit that adopted them. She's doing much better as their pet than she would have done in the wild..... nobody to take her to the vet. He also didn't say she lives outside. Just that that's where she appeared.
I really enjoyed seeing Lisa and the ducklings. We have mallards and occasionally we see the parents with a line of ducklings trailing behind them. It was fun watching Lisa shooing the babies into the bathroom!
Rabbits are so tough, but so, so delicate at the same time. Binky free, little Cookie. I'll give my sweet bunny Panda extra treats today in your honour
Bunnies are extremely nervous and delicate creatures, I have 2 of my own . They are gorgeous and sweet natured but there is nothing I dread more than when they need to see the vet, they are well worth all the trouble but vet visits are stressful events for both myself and my gorgeous mini lops.
Scott, I’m so sorry about the rabbit Cookie died. Now baby rabbits grew up and so beautiful. One of them is just like the father. Anaesthesia might be the trickiest part of any operation they perform. I think the vets on the show have talked about how some species handle it better or worse than others. In this compilation, I think Dr Scott mentioned that he (probably) has a tougher anaesthetising rabbits than than dogs/ cats
From my experience it's really very safe, they just had some bad luck. It happens in all animals, and it happens less and less the more we work with them. Routine neuters and other operations are done on rabbits all the time with very low death rates!
