How to Photomatch a wheel | Blender Tutorial

  • Hello everyone, in this tutorial I will show you how to photomatch a wheel in Blender using a single studio image. For this method you will need the Perspective Plotter addon by Mark Kingsnorth which you can get from Blendermarket and Gumroad, with both links down below.

    Perhaps you can get the camera distance, angle, and focal length correct from the start by noting points on the circle which form a square (such as four of the black screws), and by imitating the view of that square in blender.

      I see where you're coming from, however I feel like with the amount of manual changing that needs to be done sometimes I feel like it's a bit of an easier process within Blender itself.

    I'm gonna try to photo match another wheel using this tutorial thanks man.
    Btw does this work with stuff other than wheels?

      I haven't tested it with other things but I dont think so because the only reason why it works is because you have multiple clear lines in the image, that's also why you need studio images to properly do this
