I finally ordered an RC8X today. I've wanted one since they first came out. I used your Amazon link from Facebook, hopefully it worked and gave you credit for it too!
I like the radio but I'm having major problems with the range of it. I can only get like 200ft or so and it loses signal. And it has the throttle safety when you turn the esc on so you can't calibrate a castle esc. Have any ideas to fix it. I've been in contact with support.
I love my RC8X but have had some range issues but i think it might be wi-fi signal interference where i run my cars but i can't drive a real car yet so i'm kind of stuck to my neighborhood and my grandparent's apartment cause there's a field next to the complexes.
Have you ever tried swapping the wheel around to left side? Curious as I’m seeking a radio that can be fully on left and use my right hand for trigger. Not sure if those radio is ambi and would be a comfortable grip…if doing it way I’m saying
Compared to the Noble NB4? Like everything except the screen, touch is inconsistent and the display washes out in the sun. I have two of them so the kids can drive my cars with their own controller, but it is annoying that I still have to re-bind a car if I want to use the other controller with it. I feel like the rx should automatically detect which controller I want it to talk to.
I remember them days of the long metal antennas for RC. This looks awesome

Hopefully you can return that trash
@jesseharless24 I just use it for my crawlers and it works perfectly for them. I have other radios for the rest of my stuff
I've had the 'too close to connect' thing come up on my radiolink rc6gs v2 as well. Was confusing for a minute for sure.
Looks like a great radio, thanks for the update 💯👍👍

Just got my rc8x and the connection issue your talking about, if your to close, is described in the manual from radiolink
It happens randomly at distance too. Radiolink used antennas that was designed to fail and now are trying to suppress that fact

Great… now I want a new radio bro… bad influence 👌🏼
Do that firmware update it should help straighten out you issue.

Can you do a video on setting up the momentary on a winch? I'm an idiot when it comes to this radio. Haven't figured it out yet.
Hey. Could you use the dt1 2 or 3 for the diff locks on a Trx4? Also could you use the vr as independent rear steer on a Capra?
I'm a GT5 user, it fits my hand perfect, and I've noticed you use one too. How does this feel in the hand compared to the GT5?
What lipo you using? Im using a dx5 rugged at the moment. What you you choose out the 2?
Hmmm I'm left handed and drive right handed cause anything else feels odd. I seriously need to check this out so I can drive naturally.
Flysky Noble NB4 works for left hander
@@Cachapeluoso does this
Just wait until you run into signal drop hardware issues that cannot be fixed and makes you lose control of your car.....

Still junk year later
Got to get me a new radio. This good choice i think. Either this or the rugged? Anyone?
This is better than the rugged for sure. The dx5 rugged is over-rated imo. They're complicated to use and have a few weird things about them.
