    thank you for your effort..But, even if we've the two mutations in the same chromosome we can see a red offspring, a condition that the mutations are in different genes. So I think you meant, in this case with the red offspring the mutations are in different genes (it can be the same chromosomes or not) not in different chromosomes.

    In some solutions, I see the word "precursor" written at the beginning of the pathway, can you explain what that means? And how do we know how many genes are in the pathway? Thanks

    how do you tell the difference between intragenic recombination and complementation? Like what if a gene has two different types of mutations on the same gene but in different regions of the gene, does there have to be intragenic recombination within that one gene to gain a functional wild type version of that gene? if so, why cant their be a complementation of the two working regions of the gene?

    So in short, if genes are complements then they are not allelic? They should be located at different loci?

    I've have a question related to this topic so please help me to clear my doubt.
    Q. Allelism test is used for
    a) Mendelian dominance
    b) Incomplete dominance
    c) Codominance
    d) Multiple gene dominance
    From this question i think allelism test is related to complementation text which occurs between different genes while the other three cases occur within the same gene. So i think option d) is correct. Please help me to clear my doubt.
