The pickup driver said he was just defending himself...as he ran after the fleeing guy, throwing a machete at him! Somehow, I don't think that meets the "Stand your ground" rule!

This happens multiple times every day in the USA. Every single day, multiple people are shot at just because the American road network has been so poorly designed that traffic congestion is normal.
Countries that have decent public transport systems have far lower instances of road rage because they have far fewer cars and the city's have been designed for people rather than cars.
