      @rashawnwalker9398 Месяц назад

      @@LinkRocks that’s perfectly fine I appreciate the motor and the want to but that’s not how teams value defensive ends with the importance of passing offenses. Finishing a play with a sack and ending a play is way more valuable than occasionally getting a tfl or containing your gap . Good pass rushers can do those things as well and typically have a lot of tfls as well

      @@rashawnwalker9398 Tank has about an extra 30 pounds on him (compared to a weak-side pass rusher like Micah) .. he’s strong, but not gonna have the bend and burst Micah does. But he’s not gonna get “dirted” or shoved out of the play like Micah does either, in run game either
      So it’s a give & take. They both have their strengths and weaknesses

    • @rashawnwalker9398
      @rashawnwalker9398 Месяц назад

      @@JustinQuarles I appreciate the response but I’m gonna repeat again teams do not value run stuffers who get less than 10 sacks per year as players they give big contracts too. That’s not to say he doesn’t have a role that is important but that is easier to replace than a player who can consistently get to the qb with pressures as well.

    I don’t get why so many people are comparing Guyton to Smith, they are two completely different players. They were both raw with hand placement but Smith was straight up dominating and planting dudes in the run and pass game, Guyton doesn’t do that. Guyton’s okay cause it keeps Smith inside and he’s super athletic but he ain’t the nasty strong lineman Smith was coming out.
