I have a reedy 17.5, and it's quick, I haven't felt like I need more
Try a Fantom RS or HW G4. It is night and day.
A couple of people at my local track run reds, and they seem very fast. One is a 17 5 and one 21.5 and both are very fast
I think it is best to use the same type of motor most use to keep close racing. I actually thing FTM classes are most fun. If most use Reds, that is the motor to use.
What's better the reds or the reedy?
One would be pulling hairs. The Reedy S+ is about 30 kv more and 10 gauss. As far as I can see, they are the same.
