Good to see the first tournament of EA Sports WRC, keep them coming, although knockout isn't the way you decide a champion in rallying, it should be as rally is in real life. And they even can be online, as long as each player has cameras on to record themselves and their monitor and equipment.
These are fun to watch but youre right about the champion should be season winner same format as irl rally and knockout trophys are like a tournament maybe end of the season or start.

I actually drive with audio only and I know... the co driver is good (prefer the female one because of her high pitched voice) but it's very hard to hear every command unless you turn down the engine sound which would be a crime in this game with the insane audio quality it has...
Would even bet on Joona Pankkonen if he was signing with a J-WRC or WRC2 team, such a tidy driver, Marcus Grönholm style, just calm and keeping on concentrating (Richard Burns, Petter Solberg and Loeb were kind of this style too with variations), Nexl was too McRae/Ogier style, either you win everything, either you kill everything, old style driving. Always loved Finnish - and most generally Nordic - driving styles. Would have loved a truly more realistic Damage system though, like RBR.
Dude, Solberg was nothing like Loeb... Solberg was pushing and pushing and was crashing more than you think... insanely fast but Loeb beat him cause of his consistency... which is why Solberg was such a great Rally Cross driver while Loeb sucked at it... RBR's damage system is overdone... the car is hurt more than real life which is stupid and way too punishing for no reason... you get terminal damage almost every time, real life rally cars are much more durable than that... on the other hand EA WRC damage is less than real life which is not good either... the truth is somewhere in the middle (as in most cases in life) . Joona would be a very very good J-WRC driver but he's a bit old and J-WRC prefers to sign 18-20 year olds to try and find the next Kalle Rovampera etc...

When was this done? ERC Rally Poland happened in May 2023. I wonder how many hours the competitors got before competing. Cus they made a unusual amount of mistakes when usually they have every inch of the stages memorized.
hi quite agree ive said this all along should be made to use cockpit view as bonnet view has a distinct advantage over cokpit view as you can see way more sooner so can go faster also i dont think what ever force feedback you have on the car it is certainly weaker when using bonnet view so again that would make you faster than wen using cockpit view and also its not realistic at all using bonnet cam view when ever do real wrc drivers sit in the centre of the car ? they dont they all sit on the left hand side of car in wrc .
No you would beat the girl but that’s it. Based on your footage on your channel you wouldn’t even have slight of a chance on the other drivers. In your corners is almost no momentum unless in a few “lucky” ones. In a left two corner you go down to 55kph, for a pro way to slow. Also a few harsh cuts on hairpins, taking a lot of momentum. Try to oversteer more on the curves outcomes and push the clutch more at the beginning of the curves.👍

EA SPORTS WRCbig issue with Fanatec pedals when you conect them too USB port… the fps drops alot.. i have 83fps when driving on stage.. disconect pedals i have 163fps🤷 EA need too fix this or Fanatec.. i drive with t300 base and v3 pedals on PC so i must use usb port too pedals… i spent many hours trying too figure out the Low fps.. and just unplugg pedals got 163fps right away… this made me stopp playing wrc… EA fix this!!!!!! Think i am not the only one with this problem.. everybody that using Fanatec and usb.. unplugg and you will get higher fps!!!!!

As they have the choice of which view to use, then it's completely balanced and fair. If they were forced to use cockpit view and weren't used to it, then that would be less fair. Your argument is completely flawed.
I get your point but its more about driving, not views. I can assure you they all can drive and be fast using different views, its all about preference. Your own setup is king, they def can use their own feedback, wheel rotation settings and ingame car settings. Its kind of same as real wrc/rally drivers who have theyr own wheel and car setup preferneces what matces their own driving style. Its good to compare finalists driving styles. Own driving style, car and wheel settings make a big difference. In tournaments they use default (high end) wheelbase+wheel and pedals but all the settings are their own.

@@tb6539 A 540 degree rotation is way more fun than a 360... and you can definitely be very fast on a 540 rotation... sorry but in most stages I am about 10-20 secs off the world record and I'm very consistent... 360 is too little and the car becomes way too twitchy... plus for someone that isn't an e-sports player using unrealistic wheel rotation is stupid... for us everyday rally fans getting as close to the real thing as possible should be the only objective...

Salut ! C’est pour vous informer d’un bug sur votre jeu, quand ont passe la ligne d’arrivé d’une spécial en mode contre la montre, ont ne peu plus contrôlé la voiture ont est d’accord ? Et bien après avoir passé la ligne je suis sorti de la piste et apparemment j’ai du tapé dans un arbre ou autre et ça m’a compté un abandon de la spécial, merci de faire remonté cet info et de rectifier le problème c’est plutôt grave comme problème surtout qu’il y a des specials qui peuvent duré + 1/4 heure, ça frustre beaucoup surtout quand ont bat son record précédent

I personally don't see a reason why these people are in e sports with performances like that. I mean no offence but me, at home with my worse equipment can outperform these people with both consistancy and times. I don't see a reason why these people are in e sports when I am sure there are more worthy candidates. Once again I mean no offence to anyone, however their driving is inconsistant and crashes occur way too often for this to be at a professional level. I wish I could be given that chance to beat them hahaha. :)

Hey! I noticed this comment, so I thought I would reply. The qualification rallies for these championships were available in game in DiRT Rally 2. The @dirtgame socials (nowadays @EASPORTSWRC) were advertising the competitions as well. Anyone could qualify for the competitions through the online qualifiers. Some competitions might have had an age restriction so that you had to be over 16. And yeah, definitely dont need expensive equipment either for this stuff. Someone could qualify even on a controller.. finals would obviously be on a steering wheel tho.

Also the cockpit view should be mandatory. In real life rally, drivers dont have the advantage of driving from their car's bonnets.

well this game is not from may its from november so its only 6/7 weeks they have practiced and thats not nearly enough to memorize over 200 stages

Salut ! C’est pour vous informer d’un bug sur votre jeu, quand ont passe la ligne d’arrivé d’une spécial en mode contre la montre, ont ne peu plus contrôlé la voiture ont est d’accord ? Et bien après avoir passé la ligne je suis sorti de la piste et apparemment j’ai du tapé dans un arbre ou autre et ça m’a compté un abandon de la spécial, merci de faire remonté cet info et de rectifier le problème c’est plutôt grave comme problème surtout qu’il y a des specials qui peuvent duré + 1/4 heure, ça frustre beaucoup surtout quand ont bat son record précédent

I personally don't see a reason why these people are in e sports with performances like that. I mean no offence but me, at home with my worse equipment can outperform these people with both consistancy and times. I don't see a reason why these people are in e sports when I am sure there are more worthy candidates. Once again I mean no offence to anyone, however their driving is inconsistant and crashes occur way too often for this to be at a professional level. I wish I could be given that chance to beat them hahaha. :)

Gotta be a simp with a 25k dollar PC with Mediocre skills in order to gain a thought....if your on console just forget it completely since they don't care about console and eSports hasn't in years

Hey! I noticed this comment, so I thought I would reply. The qualification rallies for these championships were available in game in DiRT Rally 2. The @dirtgame socials (nowadays @EASPORTSWRC) were advertising the competitions as well. Anyone could qualify for the competitions through the online qualifiers. Some competitions might have had an age restriction so that you had to be over 16.
And yeah, definitely dont need expensive equipment either for this stuff. Someone could qualify even on a controller.. finals would obviously be on a steering wheel tho.
